Summary: I needed a good knock around camera to take with me for just snapping pics and to keep in my bag. This fits the bill perfectly. good zoom range, fast lens for low light shooting, fast response and can take rapid shots. This ia a good little camera!

Summary: I bought this camera in April 2010 after doing a fair bit of research into the quality of pictues for cameras of this price range. I was told Panasonic do the better type of lenses too. I have had no problems with this camera at all, though I do not do much with it other than holiday and kid snaps.
