Summary: I got this for my birthday last year and really can't tell that much of a difference than any others. Or maybe I just don't know the "Special" things yet. I have had it 10 months and it does take good pics, but so does my iPhone. My Fuji camera takes better pics than this one.
Summary: The camera broke down and it was replaced by a refurbished product. Not satisfied with the quality of the product nor the limited one year warranty, nor the fact that I had to settle with a fixed-second-hand camera. On top of that, I had to pay to send the product for evaluation and repairs.
Summary: I have used this camera for many vacations and love the pictures it produces. I do not take pictures with a phone, but can slip this small camera into a pocket and be ready for any photo ops that occur.
Summary: We wanted to move up on the MP world and we LOVED our 10mp Lumix. We were SO excited to get this camera on a black Friday deal and take it on our next trip. We've tried to fall in love with it for a little over a year now. We've borrowed it to friends to see what they thought and with no avail, we are going to sell it in hopes to get $100 for it and move on to something else. It has been by far the worst camera we have ever owned.
Summary: What a wonderful camera, until it was stolen from a restaurant. Forgot it for about 10 minutes and called and was told it was not there. Took great picture. Just make sure you don't leave it on a table of a Denny's restaurant table, because you will never see it again.
Summary: I wanted a basic point and shoot camera that was small, but took quality pictures. I did quite a bit of research and the Panasonic Lumix seemed to be the exactly the camera that I was looking for. I love the portability, the quality of pictures, the size of the view screen, and the easy of use. The camera seems to be of high quality and very well made. It's got a little weight to it (which I like) and you don't get that plastic feel when you use it.
