My New Pretty Red Camera
Phyllis E. Williams, Amazon
9 March 2011
Summary: Just got this product today and have been trying it out. So far I am really impressed. The colors are great, the video clarity and color is great and it seems to be built solidly. I am thinking I may need a bigger card than 8G for movies for a trip though, the videos take up a lot of space. After I have more time with this camera I will write an update, but so far it seems great. I am anxious to try all the options. Thanks Amazon and Panasonic!
Summary: Initially, I was very excited to try out the new Lumix DMC-FH25R. It came on Friday and I immediately charged the battery so I could put the camera through its paces this weekend. Well, it's Monday and I'm sending it back. In spite of Leica glass on this camera, the image quality, I'm afraid, isn't there. Pictures taken in low light yield false colors. For instance, a shot of a red dinner plate came out a strange burnt orange and very oddly distorted.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS35 - Great quality for the price
28 February 2014
Excerpt: I bought this camera to replace one that stopped working! I Paid £89 for the camera. After much internet research, I settled on the Panasonic Lumix FS35 as being a good balance between price and quality - a good quality camera is important to me, but I can't afford an expensive one. First looks and use did not disappoint - a well balanced and robust camera with a large and clear image screen, and a few test pictures later I was more than happy with the results.
Pros: Robust, compact, easy to use and good picture quality
Cons: Some image fade with flash and small internal memory
Summary: Bought this for my wife as a replacement for her Panasonic FX30 of 5years on which from internet searches we beleive the sensor was failing or had a loose connection. Her criteria was for a sclose direct replacement as possible. Slim and functional. This is one of the few new additions where an external charger is supplied. Many now charging the battery in the camera much as you would do with a phone. Two really annoying points that she has found with this camera. 1.
Excerpt: hadnt initially wanted to buy this little camera, it seemed too cheap for anything that would be good and it was extremely light so I thought it may not last too long. The guy in the shop had spent a long time with us going through varius options but I knew I needed something that was easy to use, pick it up, point it, click and capture! This, I was told would do just that.
Pros: Easy to use, good battery life, excellent price
Summary: This little camera is compact, takes great pictures, very pleased with it. would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that it has quite a flimsy battery/memory card cover, I hope it lasts!
