Super little camera which delivers

Summary: This is a fantastic camera under £100 that really does deliver. Excellent quality photos and it copes very well in a variety of lighting situations, from dark to bvery bright and backlit scenes. I just used it both as HD video today for recording the Olympic Torch's visit to Southend on Sea and found that when I start the video, it takes a snapshot too about 200 kB which was really nice as I can see what the video looks like at the start and a great tool for editing.
Summary: I was fully prepared to love this camera. I have had an older Lumix for yrs now that I have really enjoyed, but that one has seen better days. To start off with, the picture quality was very grainy, which surprised me. Plus the color seemed off in all the test pictures I took. I tried different settings on the camera, but it didn't help. I had hoped to get the crisp picture quality that I was used to.
Summary: I have to join the ranks of all the other people that have bought this great little camera. Do not be fooled by it's size as this is more than a standard compact point and shoot. The zoom capability is incredible I have taken good photo's at 22 * magnification with only a small amount of loss in picture quality. The iA mode is excellent for when you want to take the brain out of gear and let the camera make the decisions.
Summary: A few reviews have been complaining about the quality of this camera but it's under £100! You can't expect SLR quality. I have a DSLR so I can see what this is lacking but for the times when you just want a cheap camera that you can shove in a pocket or your wife's handbag, it's ideal. While the picture quality isn't the best in the world, it's more than adequate for some quick fire snaps when you don't want to carry something bigger.
good sharp photos in daylight... average at night!

Summary: i bought this camera to replace my 4 years old canon that had a problem in the flash... i was persuaded to buy it cause of the good reviews here and the high zoom and MP in the price range of 100 euros! so although the reviews in some specialists sites werent so high as here i took the risk . the risk worth it in some points but not in others! the camera is small and easy to use. the menu is very easy to learn in the first 10 minutes.
Summary: I bought this at the last minute, a week or so before my holiday. I haven't used all the features yet (not sure if I will), but the basic settings are easy to use. I sat in the "gods" on the last row of the May Sumo tournament in Japan and using my zoom, recorded a contest. The result when viewed on my PC is amazing. It looks as if I am close up. Well pleased.
Summary: got this for my wife's birthday. she had a 5 meg compact camera , it was fine in the day time, but had problems at night , too many settings. This one has a full auto setting for all light levels, and in all conditions the results are great. It comes with a lead to plug straight in to the tv, where you can even do the editing.
Summary: I agree with the positive remarks made about this camera. The only thing to bear in mind is the battery life. If you are planning to use the camera for a full days shooting, then you will need to take a spare along. Even without the flash switched on, one battery alone can't hack it. The good thing is, you don't have to re-set date and time whenever you swap them around. It manages to retain this information (unlike my son's camera).
Excerpt: PANASONIC LUMIX DMC-FS35 I am a big fan of digital cameras and have owned several over the last few years. I usually try to upgrade every year, but I have been loyal to the Panasonic Lumix brand for the past three years or so. When my baby son was due, I felt it was an excellent time for an upgrade, so I did an online search to see which would be the best model to buy.
Pros: Excellent range of features, great quality photos and video, very good value .
Cons: Complex amount of features which are hard to find sometimes .
