"Great Point-and-Shoot for a photographer on a budget."

CRL713, CNET
17 October 2011
  • Pros: Huge amount of tools and settings to make your pictures exactly the way you want them, like the scene modes and intelligent auto. The 12 megapixel (4000 x 3000 resolution) lens takes high quality photos, and the video feature is great as well. I also lo
  • Cons: Full digital zoom (20x) is extremely blurry, but you can always not turn it on.

This one is great!

R. Siqueira "RWS", Amazon
26 April 2011
  • Summary: I've had this camera since December 2010, when I got it for $89.00. The price has increased recently on Amazon to $199.00. I wonder why? Now I know: It takes better pictures than more expensive cameras that cost double. I've personally compared the FH1 with the Canon SD1300IS (28mm/4x zoom) and the Panasonic DMC-ZR3 (25mm/8x zoom), and to my surprise the FH1 takes better pictures than both of them. The Canon pictures were a little soft and out of focus.

Makes you feel sorry paying so little for something so good

Raúl Horacio García, Amazon
21 March 2011
  • Summary: This camera shows the lengths Panasonic has come in developing digital cameras. What you pay in this case, $89 is too few for such a product. What shocked me at first was the minute size of it. This camera is a keeper. Before purchasing one I was pondering whether or not I'd be able to understand all the myriad buttons & functions cameras come with these days and surprisingly, I fared better than I even expected.

great camera for everyday use

Lynda M. Conner, Amazon
18 March 2011
  • Summary: I bought this camera for my 10 year old son and have been extremely happy with it. It is easy to use and takes clear pictures. Pretty good in low light even. I love that we can plug in the battery to re=charge. No using a bunch of AA batteries. Overall, I highly recommend this camera. (My daughter has a Panasonic also and we have never had any problems with it. I always try to buy the Panasonic brand.

  • Summary: A good camera for non-digital, senior citizen learners. Manual instructions and software instructions could be a bit more novice friendly. Takes great pictures despite attributes of novice photographers.
