Summary: I purchased 3 cameras - the picture quality is amayzing and so are the videos - very easy to operate the only issue you have is at night or during the day with direct sun or light it makes a line on the dispaly (known problem) - the line does not show up in the pictures but it does show in the video's you simply have to avoid direct light - (not always possible) but it is defenitaly good value for the money
Summary: Takes great pics and video, in HD. Camera has many different options. I would recommend using the Intelligent Auto every time though. Before I found this button, every picture was blurry. It was really hard to get any crisp pics without it on. Now they are all turning out great. I would definitely recommend this camera.
Summary: This was offered below a hundred dollars for a while and it's a steal at that price. It was one of the few pocket cams that offered an F2.8 lens and a 28mm wide angle in that price range. I find the zoom button aggravating, starts slow and then goes too fast, but I will probably develop a better knack for it soon. I bought this on a trip, and had no time to practice. I consider myself a serious amateur, and I was able to work most important settings within a few minutes.
Summary: This camera was purchased for my wife to slip in her purse so she could take pictures of the grandchildren. It replaced a very old Canon. I have always purchased Canon cameras but in this case, this camera had more to offer than the Canon and at a lessor price. We have been completely satisfied with its performance. We were a little concerned that it has a rechargeable battery and that we couldn't use AA's or AAA's as a back up but we have never run out of battery.
Summary: I bought this item as a gift, I had to return the first one because it stopped working. I contacted Amazon and after a 5 minute conversation they sent out a new one. Awesome product and customer service.
Summary: I have owned a Panasonic since 2004 and love that camera, last month while taking it out of closet, I bumped it against the wall and now the lens is stuck. So I had to buy another camera that was small enough to fit in my purse because the first one had 12x zoom it was as big as an SLR. Long story short, after doing a lot of research and reading reviews on numerous sites, I decided to buy this camera because it was on sale and I didn't want to buy other brands.
Summary: I bought this for my wife as an alternative to her digital SLR. For under the $100 range this camera is great! The flash does a great job as long as you're at least 4 feet or so from the subject. It does take some getting used to the settings and which ones to use, but they work really well. My biggest reason for choosing this over many others is that the digital stabilization is optical instead of digital. This makes a big difference, especially when zooming a long way.
Summary: The camera takes great photos in both regular and widescreen modes. It is lite weight and the battery lasts a long time. I took this camera recently out of the country on a week long trip. I am not disappointed in the performance of the camera at all.
Summary: Everything is done to a high standard, including many features in a compact attractive design. Rechargable battery is a plus, especially when it does not require replacement for long. The only drawback is an inadequate video quality, considering its high pixel resolution (12 MP). The moving picture is a little shady, even though not too bad.
