Panasonic, REALLY? Poor 3D quality!

B. Brent, Amazon
3 February 2014
  • Summary: As a photographer/videographer for many years, I can easily see the quality difference between this camera and Fujifilm's W3 3D camera. I've owned the W3 3D camera for over three years, but recently I must have either mishandled it, maybe a slight drop to the floor or a bump. The right lens is out of sync and cannot be fixed w/o a costly (more $ than a new one) repair. So, even though others here have given the Panny 3D camera mixed reviews, I took a chance.

Buy the Fuji 3D W3 instead!

Joseph B. Mayshark "sheep107", Amazon

  • Summary: As just a camera, this can't compare favorably in any way with most hundred-dollar point and shoots. It's okay, but just barely. Lightanddarker, DP Review

  • Excerpt: I have been a pocket hybrid fan for many years, the perfect tool for the photographer and would-be film maker for the times he doesn't want a camera hanging round his neck. Being able to shoot stills which will stand A4 printing, and video that will look ok on a large screen TV with something that will slip in your jeans pocket has been something like the search for the Holy Grail for me.

Best pocket size 3-D camera but the JVC Everio Gs-td1 is best

J. Maestro "Pat Maestro", Amazon
24 October 2012
  • Summary: UPDATE December 15, 2013. This camera is listed in two different locations on Amazon. You can now buy it new from Japan for about $180.00 but don't do it because the JVC Everio Gs-td1 is the best and now it's available in the $500.00 price range on ebay brand new from Japan and has an English menu as an option.
