Panasonic, REALLY? Poor 3D quality!

B. Brent, Amazon
3 February 2014
  • Summary: As a photographer/videographer for many years, I can easily see the quality difference between this camera and Fujifilm's W3 3D camera. I've owned the W3 3D camera for over three years, but recently I must have either mishandled it, maybe a slight drop to the floor or a bump.

Buy the Fuji 3D W3 instead!

Joseph B. Mayshark "sheep107", Amazon
10 November 2013
  • Summary: As just a camera, this can't compare favorably in any way with most hundred-dollar point and shoots. It's okay, but just barely. But as a 3D camera it has two serious shortcomings: 1.Whereas when in 2D mode it's a reasonably adjustable camera: it has various modes, and manual overrides, which allow...

Lightanddarker, DP Review
24 November 2012
  • Excerpt: I have been a pocket hybrid fan for many years, the perfect tool for the photographer and would-be film maker for the times he doesn't want a camera hanging round his neck. Being able to shoot stills which will stand A4 printing, and video that will look ok on a large screen TV with something that...

Best pocket size 3-D camera but the JVC Everio Gs-td1 is best

J. Maestro, Amazon
1 April 2012
  • Summary: UPDATE December 15, 2013. This camera is listed in two different locations on Amazon. You can now buy it new from Japan for about $180.00 but don't do it because the JVC Everio Gs-td1 is the best and now it's available in the $500.00 price range on ebay brand new from Japan and has an English menu...

Great camera if you read Japanese

Graham Brown, Amazon
14 November 2013
  • Summary: The camera itself I'm sure is really good but most of the sellers are sending direct from Japan and these are not meant for the UK market. The whole package including instructions, softwear (disc and on camera) and the battery charger are all in Japanese.

Not fit for purpose

Joe, Amazon
14 April 2012
  • Summary: Disappointed. The camera itself is brilliant but that's not enough for a video recorder. The software is unbelievably bad - clearly the designers have never used the product in earnest. I went on a world cruise and bought the camera (after poring through endless comparison reviews)for the occasion.

Not worth the money

R. P. Colenutt, Amazon
14 April 2012
  • Summary: It's early days for 3D cameras and this camera is very basic in it's functionality. For example, there is no "shoe" to connect an external flash and the focal length is very short. Worse still, it doesn't actually take 3D photos indoors on most occasions!
