The Panasonic LUMIX ZS10 is a digital camera with a 24mm ultra-wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 16x optical zoom and supports full-High Definition 1920x1080 video recording, a 3.0-inch, 460,000-dot Smart Touch Intelligent LCD that allows users to navigate and capture images with Touch Zoom, Touch Auto Focus (AF), Touch Shutter, and Touch Playback function, and a built-in GPS (Global Positioning System) function that lets users geotag images. It supports Motion JPEG images, and record high-resolution full-HD 1920x1080 60i videos in AVCHD (MPEG-4 / H.264) format. The camera also supports stereo sound of Dolby® Digital sound. The LUMIX ZS10 will be available in black and silver.

Features

The DMC-ZS10 features Smart Touch operation on its LCD screen that supports intuitive touch operation, including Touch AF, Touch Zoom, Touch Shutter, and Touch Playback. The LUMIX FX78 also features LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT, 24mm ultra-wide angle lens with 16x optical zoom (21x with Intelligent Zoom function), Smart Touch Screen allows users to utilize its Auto Focus (AF) function by touching the subject on the LCD and release the shutter. The camera then locks on the subject, and tracks the subject with the AF tracking function even if it moves. The camera also features Intelligent Scene Selector in the iA mode, which automatically sets the camera to the appropriate mode according to the subject touched; full-HD videos and still photos capture; Panasonic 3D Photo mode, which produces a realistic 3D photo by taking 20 consecutive photos and overlaying the two best to create a 3D image; supports formats that can be played on a Panasonic VIERA 3D HDTV, supports MPO format that allows users to play back their recording /images on other MPO-compatible equipment such as a televisions, digital photo frames and printers; LUMIX Image Uploader that allows users to share via Facebook (for digital photos) or YouTube (for videos) through its USB cable connected to a PC or by inserting the SD Memory Card directly into the PC’s SD Card slot.
