Summary: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3W is available in India at a street price of Rs. 39,990. The camera does well in the features as well as design department. The performance of the camera is quite good as well, especially while capturing outdoor images. The interface of the camera is not that great, but once one gets used to it, navigating is pretty straight forward. Our only real hang up with it is the price, which is almost Rs.40,000.
Summary: Launched just six months after the GF2 (which we liked apart from its touchscreen interface), the GF3 will raise eyebrows if you’re expecting a better specced bundle. This time, in stripping away a hot shoe, accessory port and stereo mic, Panasonic has targeted the point-and-shoot consumer. Light as a feather There’s no denying that in the hand it’s certainly light. While the aluminium chassis stops it from feeling flimsy, a rubberised grip would have been really useful.
