Summary: This is the second G-3 I have bought because I do not want to switch lenses. Excellent, lightweight and compact. Very good viewfinder. Not wild about the touch screen, but just do not use that feature.
Summary: We purchased this camera as a gift for our granddaughter who is off to college! I just talked to her and she loves it. It takes great photos, is easy to use and has so many options that she is still learning all that it will do whenever she can take the time from her studies.
Summary: I got this camera on a SUPER sale and it was the only one in stock. This camera takes beautiful pictures and that fact that's micro four thirds and I can use the lens from this camera on my BMPCC and vice versa is a home run.
Summary: As an amateur, but passionate photographer, I'll defer the technical discussions to other reviewers. I will say that, however, this is a great camera. It takes amazing photographs and, if you read the manual thoroughly, fairly gently leads you into using some of it's advanced features.
Summary: I bought another G3 after the price dropped to $249 when the G5 was introduced to have as a second body. Great quality at a great price. The G3 is very light so is perfect for trips, biking, hiking, etc. I do pro quality work with this camera. Some of the lumix lenses are super too!.
Cost less than the last 4/3 camera I bought, has more features

Summary: Paid almost three times as much for a Lumix G1 a couple of years ago that has less resolution, no viewfinder, non-orientable LCD monitor. The other cool thing is I can use all the 4/3 lenses from the old camera. New camera has higher resolution and is physically lighter than the old one.
