Summary: I have used the earlier FZ20 for four years, all over the world in my travels with huge success,in that it is so light and so very versatile,so that when the FZ60 was announced with a staggering 24 times zoom it was a MUST buy.It is light. It is easy to use and the Leica lens is the jewel in the crown, because it is so sharp even when hand-held in very low light. At the price I have paid I consider the LUMIX FZ60 as easily the best camera on the market, especially for a...
wonderful Bridge camera to go from point and shoot to Pro

Summary: such a great camera to progress to, Has the same functions as a dslr. compact, nice to handle comfortable to use. I have learnt a lot using this camera, The photos I have to admit impressed me to the point that I have to pinch myself wow what great photos With my trusty photography book for beginners, I have been able create some photo frame worthy Pictures. There is a great creative function switch that has some really good digital filters.
Pros: Not as heavy as a DSLR, yet can produce some pretty outstanding pictures; Great zoom; Battery power length's pretty decent, Lense cap is a bit fiddly. Relies on pinching plastic clips inward, which can be a little awkward, if you have chunky fingers or long nails
Summary: I bought this camera because my son does film and television work. The update photographs for growing children, need to be submitted at least once every 6 months, sometimes every 3 months for children that change a lot! This can be expensive, and I was looking to get a professional'ish' look, on a budget!! I must admit, I know nothing of photography, so lighting etc. is a mystery to me. This camera has made things SO easy, though!!
Summary: I thought long and hard about getting a bridge camera but was impressed by the number of positive reviews for this one. My compact has done 8 years of sterling service and still takes great pictures but the zoom is limited and the scope for 'playing' properly is limited. I have an old SLR and missed the flexibility. I also thought it was time to increase the pixels for picture quality. I have not been disappointed.
Summary: Having read great reviews about this camera (quoted as the best in it's price range by Which) I decided to buy.I was able to buy an ex display model at substantially reduced price and having used it extensively for two weeks on holiday I can say that it fulfills all that I want from a camera. I will use almost exclusively on auto setting but for those who want to use aperture or shutter priority or fully manual the the facility is there.
Summary: Went to this camera from a compact. Apart from being bulkier and taking more time to use (as expected) this camera does everything I need it to and more. Zoom is great. Pictures are crisp and clear. Great value for the price I paid and a great step up from the compact. Practice will make perfect!
Summary: Nice device, so many features I cannot say that I have even scratched the surface. I suppose many would find the range of features and complexity a little off putting, I was a little overwhelmed initially, but as it produces quality pictures almost straight out of the box, anything else can be tried and sampled as and when... I had an early version of this camera and found that viewfinder was a must on bright days.
