Excerpt: This camera has been neglected and gotten a bad rap. It is an excellent camera overall which, as Panasonic concedes, has better image quality and stabilization than the FZ200, including 15% less noise. The FZ200 costs more and has gotten all the press.
Summary: I like it! Bought this after checking out the Nikon P510 (and a newer comparable model) and the FZ200. Price was right. Have been using Nikon pro-level SLRs (film) and digital for as long as I can remember, wanted something smaller/lighter for those times when I don't want to lug around a larger...
Summary: I'm a sucker for cameras and own way too many. I love my DSLRs but sometimes I just don't want to worry about them so I wanted a point and shoot to carry around at times but it had to be something better than the traditional point and shoot. I think I found it with this camera.
Summary: It is going to be a great travel camera. This is not the latest model so it doesn't have wifi which is a slight disadvantage, but it takes so much better pictures than a point and shoot, with so much less effort and weight than an SLR, that I'm quite happy with it.
Summary: I would recommend this camera to the person that is a step away from buying a SLR camera. It has way more options that I will ever use, but is easy to operate while still allowing enough capability to fine tune settings.
Summary: Firstly, I recommend the camera LUMIX FZ60 because it has almost all the functions and tools of a professional camera. For beginners it is easy to use. Also, it has a powerful zoom (24x) that takes clear photos and creative effects.
Summary: I've been quite pleased with Panasonic cameras. It's not as easy to use as my Lumix ZS6, but the photos are turning out just as nice. Of course, the zoom is awesome. The icons and buttons take some getting used to, and it's a little too easy to press the burst or video button instead of the snapshot...
Summary: I have an older Kodak Easy Share 10x zoom camera. This one was very similar-just faster, lighter and with a stabilizer control. The pictures are crystal clear and so far it hasn't taken a bad picture.
Summary: I had owned the Lumix FZ47 and it was a great camera. Although, anything beyond ISO 400 showed a good deal of noise, which I probably par with a 1/2sensor. The FZ60 uses a CMOS sensor compared to the CCD of the FZ47 and I feel this provides a better image!
