Summary: I have been a big fan of the Panasonic Lumix camera family for several years. I own two DMC-FX9 and a Panasonic SDR-S10 camcorder. I recently purchased the DMC-FX580 and have been absolutely amazed at the quality of the still shots as well as the video.
Summary: Good sturdy camera without being too heavy, LCD screen clear as a bell, menu helpful and pictures taken up to now have been excellent, not hard to use but not exactly easy either, appears to be a good alround reasonably priced digital camera.
Summary: I bought this camera one year ago and I was never disappointed. The user interface and handling are top although the camera is like a brick. The build feels very solid. In my jeans I prefer the Fuji Finepix JX 350 because it has rounded edges.
Summary: I would recommend this camera to anyone with a casual interest in photography, who wants to experiment with different shots and styles. This is because it is very affordable for a camera of its quality and has many different settings, allowing you to edit shutter speed, aperture etc.
Summary: Bought as a back up to Panasonic FZ38. A brilliant little camera, quick to turn on and touch screen more than useful. Very good to use in the tight confines of the workshop on a tripod - photographing ship models and parts of models.
Easy to use and better pictures than my friend's SLR

Summary: I'm so glad I bought this, for a small camera it really does the trick beautifully. I have taken some fantastic photos with it... this is as easy and stress free as it gets. I don't use the touch screen that much but intelligent auto is perfect and it does give you some fab options with regards to...
Summary: I looked at a lot of cameras before choosing the Lumix FX550. I'm very pleased with my choice and although I have a lot to learn about it yet, the first pictures are all I could ask for.The 3.0 inch screen is much better than the one on my old camera, and so far it's been easy to use.
