Excerpt: I got this camera few years back to take along on “mud races” as I found that the shots taken by the onsite photographers were too few and far between. The results surprised me. Considering the circumstances — I’m doing an obstacle race, covered in mud, and can’t see things closer than 3’ without my...
Summary: I bought this camera when i was going on a cruise and at the time i had compared it with the GoPro and it was a better option at the time. GoPro was more video and i wanted more photo while still being able to shoot HD video at 1080p.
Summary: Been using this camera for almost three years now and what can I say this thing is amazing! I've taken this camera on dozens of trips from whitewater kayaking in West Virginia and Canada to snorkeling in Hawaii and it has never let me down!
Summary: Need a waterproofie, and this is the best, I think. I see lots of other folks with it, so I'm not alone in that opinion. Nice options, good color quality. It took some doing to find how to put the shutter speed on unlimited (like it stays open as long as you hold the button down), but I eventually...
Summary: This was purchased as a gift for my husband, and we have enjoyed probably 2 years of use. This is a durable, rugged camera with a quality feel to it. In addition to the usual point and shoot competency, the camera zooms well for shooting distant things, and it does macro really well for close-up...
Summary: This is one of the best waterproof digital cameras I have ever used. It has gone with us on every vacation and has always preformed incredibly well! We have been snorkeling in the Caribbean and on lots of beaches. We never have to worry about our camera.
Summary: I absolutely love this camera. I initially purchased this to take to Turks and Caicos as we planned on spending a lot of time in the water and I wanted to be able to take underwater photos. The quality of the photo I will admit, is not without some flaws.
Summary: This camera is as rugged as advertised. It's been banged around on various trips to the beach, hiking, riding. Always turns out fine. The pictures are pretty good - I'd guess typical for a point-and-shoot. Overall, I like it.
Summary: It's waterproof (for snorkeling). Decent image quality for a pocket camera. Underwater videos are of reasonable quality. It's easier to shoot video underwater than take stills anyway. Battery life is not great, but if you're conservative you can make it through most of a day on vacation.
