Summary: I purchased this camera to be used primarily while whitewater kayaking. While it takes decent pictures when the lens is dry the lens does not repel water very well. This results in water spots and fog on the lens (when there is a difference in air and water temps) making it extremely difficult to take clear photos while on the river. I have tried anti fog and water repellent agents on the lens without any real success.
Summary: I bought this camera to take on a cruise. It was worth the price I paid. I live by the coast. I go to the beach and pool year around and this camera has been through a lot. Although the underwater pictures are not the best quality , I didnt have to worry about getting the camera wet and I have decent underwater pictures. I have put this camera through a lot of aquatic use with little care to maintenance and after nearly 2 years Im now noticing water drops inside.
Great all around camera, great pictures and waterproof too!

Summary: I just love this camera. I bought one open-box for under a c-note and just wasn't sure what to expect from it. Wow! This is a really great all around camera. Easy to use, very much point and shoot and the photos uniformly come out very, very good. After one year of owning it, I don't think I've gotten a single out of focus picture from it. It's been in the pool, river, mud, and to the beach. No problems with leaking or fogging up.
Excerpt: Has been a semi reliable camera. Picture and video colours and quality is great but has a digital touch to it. Positives -Is the good quality of the photos and colours in the video for the price -Is able to take light knocks and and handle 3m or so depth of water etc. -Does the basics well and is easy enough to navigate.
Summary: I have had this camera about 2 years and have used it under water many times. No problems. Excellent pictures in and out of water, good color quality. Great to stick in your purse when you think you might want to take some pics but don't want to take a larger camera. Excellent battery life.
Does Exactly what I was designed for, taking good pictures Everywhere

Summary: This Camera Takes Really Good Pictures as a regular Point and Shoot and It Performs really Good Underwater. We took it on our honey moon (beach location) and I was GREAT, took really sharp Images Everywhere. Real value compared to Nikon and Canon Underwater cameras for way more than 300 usd....
Summary: This camera is perfect for every day use and it's amazing because I can take it on vacation, even in water and pictures turn out great! I've read the basic instructions for care and I've never experianced any problems with water seeping in. I've dropped the camera and it's always been fine! It's perfect and I couldn't ask for anything more suited to my needs. Great deal too!
Summary: I bought this camera for a cruise to the Bahamas, where we snorkeled often. The camera was everything I expected, with even better quality photos than I though I would get. If you make sure to follow the cleaning instructions, this camera will maintain it's waterproof integrity for years while taking beautiful photos of all your aquatic adventures. It should be a good camera for snow too, though I haven't tried it yet. The camera is small and easy to use.
