Really good with a couple of hitches.

twillpants, Amazon

  • Summary: I've had the Lumix DMC-FS3 for a few weeks, and I'm quite satisfied with it overall. However there are definitely some things to consider before buying one for yourself. Here is my list of pros and cons... PROS: -Starts up really quickly. -Short recovery time after photo is taken.

Fabulous point and shoot

Mr. Ben "ctsamurai", Amazon
8 May 2009
  • Summary: I've been a fan of Panasonic's Lumix line and after living with a Canon Powershot for a couple of years (a gift to replace a stolen Lumix), found myself pining for another Lumix camera.

R. MCUNE, Amazon

  • Summary: I like a lot of things about this camera. 1) The menu is simple enough to use without a bunch of reading 2) It takes photos pretty quickly, so you can capture action shots without missing the moment 3) It's small and light and fits in my purse even with a case on it 4)It looks nice and feels fairly...

  • Excerpt: My wife's cam, this little cam is gem, you can put it in any pocket, the image quality is impressiva after you know the cam. Having in mind this cam is not a DSRL, you will be very satisfied. Problems: None so far, image quality exceptional for a cam in this category

Abundant Features and Good Battery Life

Tina, Amazon
19 January 2009
  • Summary: Only had this camera for a month, but tested it on my vacation to Hawaii. Great features, especially the intelligent iso option. My only nitpick is that the camera accidentally turns on when placed in my bag or in my pocket because of the on/off switch (perhaps an on/off button would be more...

Terrific little Camera

Richard Kennedy, Amazon
6 December 2008
  • Summary: After a short comparison with a few other cameras, I bought this model. Part of the reason was for the Leica lens...it's incredibly sharp. The camera is quite easy to use, and the controls are 'intuitive' once you have used them.

A pretty decent deal

Brian Watson, Amazon
6 December 2008
  • Summary: I had several criteria for chosing a camera. There are so many choices nowadays :) 1. Decent pictures, always a plus with a camera 2. Movie mode, high quality 3. 720p support on movie 4. Able to record up to 1 hour continously. This camera was a compromise. But I am very happy with the compromise.

Leica In Disguise

Michael A. McKinley, Amazon
6 December 2008
  • Summary: The Lumix DMC-FS3 is a stripped down Leica. What? Yes, it is true. Leica is one of the most dependable names in photography, often collector items worthy of museum display. Every couple of years Leica and Lumix get together and work on compact digital cameras.
