The Oregon Scientific ATC9K is a high definition camera that supports HD quality recording at 720p 30fps/60fps (1280 x 720) and 1080p 30fps (1920 x 1080), as well as captures 3M/5M resolution still images. It supports different scene modes for photo and video taking, one-press record button, built-in G-sensor (measures acceleration), laser pointer (indicates direction), status LED on main body, and has a 130 degree FOV. The Oregon Scientific ATC9K also features a 1.5” TFT display on main body, a minimum of 1.5 hours battery life, comes with various types of mounts, is water proof down to a depth of 20 meters, is compatible with Window 7/ Vista/ XP/ Apple Mac operating system and utilizes USB connection to recharge its battery, The Oregon Scientific ATC9K measures 100 x 44 x 55 mm.

It does not require an external casing. The unit supports recording straight onto a Micro SD (up to 32GB). Other features include a built in LCD screen and laser pointer to help line up the camera, play back videos, a USB cable to connect to a PC or Mac, a HDMI cable to connect to a High Definition TV, optional GPS plug-in that enables users to map their location, speed and distance traveled using Google Maps or Google Earth; see corresponding location, acceleration and altitude on Google Map; keep track of each trail and race and comes with full software that lets users view all the data on single screen and edit the video taken directly from ATC9K action cam.
