Summary: When I review and Item I take into consideration the following. Price over Value for the dollar and quality. My point being there may be other 14-15Mb camera out ther that may be better, but does the extra price worth paying out. The VG-120 is an excellent bargain for a camera in this price range of $100.00. I would expect to pay about 1/2 as much again for the same features on any other camera.
Summary: Olympus VG-120 did not operate to the expectation I had based on the technical specifications. I compared models of similar tech specs and chose the Olympus based on being less expensive than other models. Pictures are fuzzy; even the motion sensitive mode to help stabilize the pictures doesn't work well. I recommend shopping for a different model or different brand.
Summary: The picture quality is hit and miss. You havve to be perfectly still or it will blur. I got this for a gift, but I think hat it will be upgraded to something better shortly. I was hoping this would have been an upgrade from the Kodak Easyshare I got him more than 5 years ago, it really wasn't. It is capable of good pictures though.
Summary: Bought this camera for my wife. She loves the camera. I still use an older Olympus. The only shortcoming the new camera has is that it doesn't appear to be as well built as the older one, more plastic and such. The pictures are as good or better than the earlier model.
Summary: this camera was bought for our local Humane Society every animal that comes in is photographed and they are all placed online and a small picture is placed in their file. This camera is handled by many people and seems to hold up very well, also I am told that the camera is used in different fund raisers such as pictures with Santa clause pictures with the Easter Bunny, and our local fair.thank you Amazon for making our Dollar go a little further
