Grab and go anywhere

Campbell, Amazon
8 January 2014
  • Summary: After years of baby-ing cameras, it is a joy to hand this camera to my children and turn them loose. Or dive into a pool with it. We bought the camera for the underwater still photo ability but some other features have been a pleasant surprise. Such as: *The write-speed is much faster than I anticipated. *The LCD screen is sharp, clear, and a great size. *The video capability is a nice bonus. *The battery life is up to a full day of activity.

Decent for price

Eric, Amazon
21 December 2013
  • Summary: I bough it specifically for snorkeling while travelling and it was prefect for that in the price range. Definitely better than relying on a cell phone for pictures. Sure there are better cameras, but at this price (little more than one hundred), I would recommend it as a low cost waterproof camera.

TG-620 or 630?

howard l., Amazon
13 December 2013
  • Summary: The TG-620 is one of the smaller rugged cameras available from the better name brands. Afaik, the only rugged cameras even smaller are the Sony cyber shot TX line (super expensive) and the Panasonic TS line. This camera is not supported for UHS speed class, meaning it has no high speed features a "Class 10" card can use.

Nice small compact camera! Takes amazing underwater photos!

Crazysamie, Amazon
30 November 2013
  • Summary: This is a great little camera. It takes great underwater photos. Crystal clear definition. The only reason I rated this at 4 stars was the first one just quit working after about 5 days of use. I sent it back to the seller and they promptly replaced it. Hopefully this new one is better. The quality of the photos is wonderful.

  • Summary: Camera seems to be tough as advertised. However, case is very cheap and to floating device does not stay on the camera.

Great Easy to use camera

Nirali Patel, Amazon
10 October 2013
  • Summary: I needed a waterproof camera for a beach vacation and I decided to buy one 3 days before we left. Without a lot of research I trusted the reviews from Amazon and made an impulse purchase. I LOVE this camera. It's very easy to use in and out of water. The quality of pictures from this is amazing. I would highly recommend this camera.

Very good deal for $129

hha, Amazon
10 October 2013
  • Summary: I have had this camera for one month and shot more than 500 pictures. While the TG620 can be used in fully automatic mode, it is very flexible in P-mode. Fiddling with the various shooting modes using the toggle and the LCD screen works, but is very slow, particularly under bright outdoors conditions, where the screen is harder to read. The only feature which I miss is exposure bracketing.

Great for water activities!

Julia R., Amazon
2 October 2013
  • Summary: Bought for a trip where we would be on/in the water every day, it was great! Between boats/snorkeling/fishing/swimming I didn't have to worry about it getting splashed or submerged or dropped on the boat deck. Took great pictures as well with lots of features (love the panorama options!). Battery lasted good amount of time as well once I put it on "power save" mode.

  • Summary: Great functionality. Like it a lot. But the main button is to small. I have to use my finger nails to operate.
