Summary: Seriously loved this camera until it went kaputt. I took it with me to Australia for Great Barrier Reef snorkling. Took GREAT pictures for a point-and-shoot camera! I took it to Tennessee and swam in waterfalls all day. I think it got waterlogged since it was underwater for the majority of the day.
Summary: We have had an awful experience with this camera. It worked well for the first few months but the image quality was not as good and crisp as we had hoped. We purchased this mainly for the "Tough" feature and the water resistant qualities.
Summary: I've had my Olympus TG-610 since it first came out in 2011, and it's still working just as well as the day I got it. I'm just an amateur photographer (mostly family/friend outings, and going on some pretty off-road adventures with my boyfriend), and would recommend this in a heartbeat to anyone out...
Summary: We took to Mexican Riviera Maya and used in the pool and snorkeling as well as in the rain. No problems with it. It is heavy, slow reaction, and goes through batteries quickly, but is a great waterproof/impact-resistant camera. We also let our 5 year old use it at the zoo.
