Summary: This is the perfect size camera to have around, easy to carry, very lightweight. I keep it on the kitchen counter and grab it all the time to snap pictures in the back yard. The only down side is not having a viewfinder but you really cannot find that anymore with cameras under $200. I hope the companies work on the screen and being able to see in bright sunlight.
Summary: This camera was great, took beautiful pictures underwater. This was my first underwater camera. When it came, I thought perhaps they sent me the wrong item. It did not look like what I pictured. It looked like a normal camera. It wasn't bulky, didn't have a plastic protection. The year I purchased the camera I took it to the pool, the beach and to Dourney park in PA. It took quite the beating from my kids, we threw it to one another in the pool.
Summary: I have not used the camera in a hostile environment as yet so cannot comment on the "Tough" part. The rest is great. Videos are very sharp with good sound. The pictures are also up to mark for the camera specifications. Very satisfied with my purchase. Observation: Didn't give it 5 stars because one of its main features is being "Tough" and like I said I really haven`t dunked it in the pool yet.
Summary: I bought this for my sons who went to Macho Picho (SP). Peruvian SOB'S stole it and my son did not think to take the memory card out. The card was the best part. So they got it all and all the pics, I had put a really good 32GB card in it so they could shoot away. My son's are less critical than this old Army LTC. I would never have left the camera and memory (memories) in the same place. The boys really liked the camera and its water resistant features.
Great camera, held up to salt water and many drops
Classy S.O.B., Amazon

Summary: I've used this camera in salt and freshwater and never had a problem with leaks. I don't like the proprietary cable aspect, but I got a few aftermarket batteries for it and plug-in wall chargers so I can charge several batteries at once and if I lose the cable, it just means I have to take the USB card out of the camera to load photos to my computer.
Summary: Went to Mexico and used this at the beach, my friends and I were impressed at the quality of pictures from this small short zoom camera. Waterproof worked well and I got great underwater shots and not a drop got through. Great buy if you have kids or just don't want to worry about breaking a camera, its 5 foot shock proof and waterproof so if you drop this in mud, sand, saltwater and you can just hose it off.
Summary: Took it with me on a cruise - used it while floating in the water. The camera was often in the water and never had an issue. I had to remember to clean the lens (salt water) but otherwise it was great. I did find that the camera didn't seem to shut itself off after not being used for awhile so I went through the battery very quick the first day. The second day I made an effort to turn it off after use and didn't have that issue again.
Summary: Have about 6 or 7 of these "Tough" models for my office. We have lots of employees that go on site to our projects and these cameras get tossed in the vehicle/Backpack/bag. Are there better point and shoots with more features, sure but the selling point for me is the "tough" aspect ( they just keep working ).
