This is a good easy carry camera and takes good pictures

Summary: This is a good easy carry camera and takes good pictures....I amazed some hang glider pilots one day when they saw that I was zooming in so far.....One of them said "Wow ...that thing has a serious zoom doesn't it".... I took some good wildlife photos...it helps to rest the camera very still on a car window rolled part way down or something ..
Summary: I bought this camera before I had a smart phone (which is what I use mostly now out of convenience) and I love it! It takes great, clear pictures. I love how crisp things are when zoomed in and close up. The zoom on this thing is fantastic for the size! Which is why I chose it. The design is very pleasing and also comfortable to hold! Exactly what I was looking for at a great price!
Summary: I really liked this camera - it took great pictures, very nice design. It seemed to combine some of the best features of point and shoot and larger cameras. However after about a year or so the zoom mechanism seized up, occasionally working, but nearly always having a problem.

Summary: I received this camera from above mentioned "other seller" shipped & guaranteed by Amazon, but Stabilization did not work! Beautiful looking camera, lightweight, small, but 16 MP pictures about the same as my 8 MP iPhone 5! The Zoom function to 24x, even worse! I would have liked to have had it replaced, but returns only allows refund, so maybe as a "new" camera I will have better luck! "Busy" stays on constantly , no matter how steady I hold camera.
Summary: Great zoom! Great pictures! Great price from Bling! Then I took it on my trip to Italy. (I should have used a little tripod when I zoomed in on the artwork in Cathedrals.) Whenever I put the flash up to take pictures of friends in low light setting, it wouldn't take a picture. Now it's too late to return. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN BLING FOR SELLING ME A NON-REFURBISHED CAMERA.
Excerpt: The main advantage is the 16 MP BSI CMOS sensor, as compared against the CCD in my Stylus 9010. Video allows 2 full-resolution stills in each clip, I used that a lot. Moon shots and flying gannets show better detail and fewer artifacts than similar shots on my SP-570UZ bridge camera do. The SZ-30MR quickly replaced both the SP-570UZ and the Stylus 9010 for all jobs except those with external bounce flash, since it does 24x zoom in a pocket P&S format.
