  • Summary: Earlier this year, Olympus announced two new members of its Stylus SZ-series; the SZ-16 iHS and the SZ-15. While very similar, the SZ-15 costs about $30 less than the SZ-16 iHS because it lacks a CMOS image sensor, Hand-held Starlight Mode, the TruePix VI image processor, and Mulit-Motion Image...
  • Pros: Optical zoom lens as large as 24x rarely found in this price range, Camera body is small enough to carry in a pocket, Nice to have a large zoom lens in a small camera body, SZ-15 moves through its full zoom range very quickly, Popup flash angle works pretty well for low light photos, Magic specia...

  • Conclusion: For the price, the Olympus SZ-15 is reasonable value, however for those wanting to make sure they get the best possible images, you should spend a bit more and purchase one of the more premium cameras.
  • Pros: 24x optical zoom, Very easy to use, Magic image style modes, Tracking AF, 720p video
  • Cons: Image quality is poor, Screen suffers from CCD charge bleed, Slow between shots, No alternative image colour settings

It's a little chunky at 30mm from the front of the lens to the LCD screen, but this gives room for a proper handgrip that allows comfortable one-handed operation.
