Good camera and a really amazing zoom for a Point and Shoot
18 November 2013
Summary: This is a pretty good Point and Shoot camera. I needed a decent travel camera with as much of optical zoom as possible. This camera fulfilled that point very nicely. This takes good pictures with nice details during daytime, in lowlight the picture quality is OK, wont say its the best. It has a CCD image sensor so the low light images aren't the best. For that you should look at cameras with CMOS image sensor. It captures only 720P video, FullHD would have been better.
Summary: Great camera, but the colours seem too be far too intense on the images? Not sure if these can be adjusted within the camera, but at the moment that would be the only draw back to an otherwise neat camera. The case is too small for the camera, so I will be looking at buying a different one.
Summary: On getting it out of the box was disappointed with it's plasticy feel - Don't like the charge battery whilst still in camera charger supplied - So have ordered a stand alone charger - and the 'Manual' supplied in hard copy is a joke - it just tells you how to put the battery on charge in 30 different languages - there is one on the CD supplied but for those new to camera's that will not help - To my mind the singularly most annoying thing is, you cannot turn off the...
Summary: I bought this camera for holiday, but being only used to point-and-shoot cameras, I must say this is the best one i've owned. Huge zoom, incredible anti-shake tech, front and back grips help to steady the camera, really fast focus and good quality photos and screen. I also love how the flash is manual and not automatic, or in a fiddly setting in the menu. The reason i've knocked a star off is for a few issues.
