Summary: Best camera ever!!! would like to buy a new one but just can not justify it because this one still works so well. the pic quality is enough for the point and shot pics that I take with it. Have had it for 5 years now its got scraches some dents and has been in may places in the US even to Korea and Thailand.
Summary: McKenzie's Review (6 years old): This camera takes very good pictures. You can drop it on the ground and it still works. You can take pictures under water (she has). It takes very good videos. Kylie's Review (4 years old): As she takes a picture of McKenzie's V-reader and reviews the picture and smiles. (Perfect quality pictures almost every time.) Daddy's Review: I love these camera's, especially used by my kids. They work great!
Summary: I enjoy it's underwater features. It is stylish and easy to use. It takes excellent photos and is in a price range that suits my needs. I am not a professional and just wanted it for snorkling and beach trips; I was tired of risking my iphones life everytime I was near water and wanted a picture.
Summary: I have owned the camera for years now and just now writing a review. Battery life is great and picture quality is super. This camera has been everywhere with me and in some very rough places I might add and has held its own very well. For the price I paid for it on here you can't bet it.
I love this camera--great especially if you have little kids

Summary: We bought this camera after our (then) two year old got ahold of our other little digital and decimated it....This little camera is tough, can get wet, get dropped and be taken in the snow. While the pictures will never be as good as a heavy duty digital, they are quite good (you do have to master the different settings). The shutter speed can be low and I do advise getting an extra battery.
Summary: I'm still figuring out all the bells and whistles, but so far, I'm mightily pleased with this camera. The built-in user guide makes it easy to figure out which setting to use for certain shots. The stabilization feature is great for low-light and fast-action shots. Overall, I think Olympus has developed a splendid and intuitive user interface. Most of all, I love how compact and attractive it is.
Summary: I am a pro photographer, shooting with a Nikon D2Xs. I was looking for a compact camera for my wife, when I saw this camera in the reviews, it seemed like a good choice. I did some research and found a SCUBA website that tested it to 64' deep, and although the depth gauge stops at 30 something feet, it performed fine event at over double the rated depth.
Summary: Pros He's a tough little guy, he's not going to break if you bump him or spill on him He's an attractive camera He's small enough to go with you anywhere He's easy to hold and handle, he comes with a safety strap too He's easy to use, no steep learning curve, just point and shoot He's plug-n-play style with Windows XP, no software install required Cons His battery doesn't recharge unless you pop it physically out of the camera and pop it into a separate charging tray...
Summary: I have owned this camera since September 2007. I took it to Egypt, Aruba, Belize. I took about 1400 photos in Egypt -in the water, in the desert, from the bus window, at night, at sunrise and sunset -the only 'bad' photos were due to photographer (ME) error -the shutter lag is very long which is easy to forget. I have taken many pictures both above and below water. It takes great photos!
