The Olympus mju-7030 also supports Dual Image Stabiliaation which combines mechanical and digital image stabilization, memory expandability via SD card, a 2.7 inch HyperCrystal II LCD with 230 000 K color support, Intelligent Auto Mode (i-Auto) and AF Tracking, Advanced Face Detection, Magic Filters, In-Camera Panorama, and is powered by TruePic III image processor. The Olympus mju-7030 is available in Titanium Silver, Coral Blue and Orchid Purple color options.
The Olympus mju-7030 is a digital camera that supports up to 14 Megapixels of image output and features 1 GB of internal memory. It is powered by a lens with an optical zoom of 7x (28-196mm) to ensure that users won’t miss the action when shooting far away from the action. Users can then flip through their images with the Photo Surfing option. Images are sorted out by event, person, or location (using Face Recognition and GPS). They can show off their captured images on its 2.7 inch HyperCrystal II LCD or apply Magic Filters found in-camera to jazz up their images. The Olympus mju-7030 also supports HD movie recording, and HDMI port which lets users watch their recording on TV. The Olympus mju-7030 will be available in March 2010.

The Nikon camera we currently have takes 6-8 seconds between shots. Seems to take a long time to focus as well. Missing out on a lot of photo opts. Any thoughts on olympus? or other brands?
