Excerpt: This is my third Olympus camera. I have had to send a camera in twice to be repaired and they offer excellent customer service, which is the primary reason I keep coming back to Olympus. This model is a great for someone like me - I'm not a professional photographer, but I am a mom with 2 kids who likes to take pictures at school events or in the park. This model does an exceptionally good job capturing action shots.
Excerpt: The Olympus 7010 Digital Camera is a great value for the money, with a 7x zoom and 12 megapixels. Its the smallest digital camera on the market with a 7x zoom, so its versatile and portable. Drawbacks: There is no optical finder and the zoom is slower than you may find with other models. As a result of the zoom there can be some impact on picture quality despite the zoom stabilization, which is a trade-off. The interface is easy but there but there is no hand grip.
Excerpt: I love this camera! The family and I bought this digital camera a couple of weeks ago. Even though it hasn't been long, I really like this camera. A couple of the things that I love is that about this camera is that it is FABULOUS with close ups. It shows great detail and colors! I love to take close ups on plants, they look like they were taken by a professional!
Excerpt: I literally buy a new camera every year for the past few years because something usually breaks (A part) oni my camera and I can't stand that... I've had several cameras in the past butI wanted to upgrade this year from my Olympus 1010 to this Olympus 7010 and I just have to say good things about it! The stabilizer is what I liked most about it and the fact I can take a good clear photo. It has face recognition and its definately got al ot of photo options.
Summary: This little camera does a lot for the size and price. The 7x zoom is great for a point and shoot for around $100. the software is also easy to use and I love using the panorama program for some real effects. My wife likes the size, about that of a cell phone and it is simple enough for her to use. It was delivered quick and on time.
Summary: For the money and the fact it's 7x OPTICAL zoom (digital zoom is cheap to make- optical zoom is what costs the money), it's a pretty good phone. Easy to use, reasonable battery life, and decent picture quality. I've read other reviews on this camera, and it doesn't seem to rate very high. I'm not sure why. Everything about this camera is high quality. I do suggest getting a 2GB memory card (or higher capacity). I paid about $15 for my extra card.
Summary: THIS TINY CAMERA HAS SO MUCH TO OFFER...THE SUPER MACRO IS JUST THAT, SUPER! LESS THAN 1/2 INCH FROM OBJECT VERY CLEAR FOCUS...I SELL JEWELERY ON EBAY AND YOU MUST SHOW EXTREME DETAIL IN PHOTOS....THIS IS MY PERFECT CAMERA!
