The Olympus Stylus 7010 is a 12 megapixel digital camera, that supports 7x wide optical zoom (28-196mm) lens and a 2.7 inch HyperCrystal II LCD that enables users to compose their shots before taking the photo. The camera also supports Advance Face Detection, Beauty Mode, AF tracking, dual image stabilization, i-Auto mode , In-Camera Panorama mode and xD-Picture Card / microSD compatibility. The camera comes with the Olympus Master 2.2 software for image management and editing possibilities. The 7010 supports TruePic III image processing for faster image handling and higher image quality, and has movie recording capabilities with sound (up to VGA resolution at 30fps).

The Olympus Stylus 7010 is a 12 megapixel camera that features Olympus’ TruePic III image processing technology that automatically adjusts color reproduction (color range, saturation and brightness), picture sharpness (reduced image noise, improved edge reproduction), as well as providing faster processing speeds to provide users with optimal imaging capabilities. The camera also features Advanced Face Detection of up to 16 persons for focused and exposed faces; Beauty Mode that recognizes and touches up the appearance of subjects even while the shot is being taken; In-Camera Panorama mode that allows users to instantly compose panoramas of approximately 130° right inside the camera; Dual Image Stabilization that reduces image blur caused by camera shake or fast-moving subjects and combines high ISO values with a CCD-based mechanical image stabilizer, where a built-in gyro sensor detects camera movement and adjusts the CCD accordingly; AF tracking which tracks moving subjects automatically and keeps it continually in focus. The camera also memorizes subject data even when the subject goes out of frame and resumes tracking when it reappears. The Olympus Stylus 7010 also features Magic Filters that enables special artistic effects to be created directly in the camera such as Pop Art which enhances colors, making them stronger and more vivid to create high-impact pictures; Fish-Eye which reproduces the effect of a fish eye lens, lending a perspective to the whole scene with a “round” effect; Sketch which gives the impression that subjects have been sketched by an artist by transforming images into line drawings and Pin Hole which reduces the peripheral brightness like an image seen through a pinhole. Added to this is a unique color tone that results in a style that has an air of secrecy or portrays the feeling of being lost in another dimension or space.
