Summary: I have this camera for years now, and honestly can say it takes amaizing pictures. Even low light pictures looks fantastic. This camera takes 10.1 megapixel pictures, however it looks like 50 megapixels. I could buy a new camera now, but i dont think it would be better than, the Stylus 1010. Simply stuning picture quality. i wouldnt sell mine for $300.. cons.. the olympus logo broke off.. also the zoom ring came off as well.

Summary: I have another black camera just like this one so I wanted to get a back up camera before they did not sell them anymore. I have used many of the features on the camera and it handles nicely. 1) I did find when you are ready to take a picture you need to touch down on the picture button lightly first and then take the picture. If you don't do this, it will sometimes get blurred a little. 2) Good videos also.
Summary: I love this camera. Very versatile and easy to use. It's a little fragile, as I dropped the first one I owned and the lens quit working. The only thing I'd like different is if it would have a more powerful zoom. But 7 power is better than most. Screen is hard to see under bright light conditions. Both minor points.
Summary: Functional, sturdy, versatile, logical, this camera has been my constant companion since I bought it. The flash card had to be bought separately, and it fit in the case of my last camera, as I would not recommend not having a case. The battery still recharges, but is discharging a little quicker now.
Summary: I've had this camera since summer of 2008 and I haven't found the "perfect" camera to replace it yet. I have thousands of great photos and have enlarged them up to 8 x 10 and they still look great. I have many photos from our European trips that are beautiful. For people that have fuzzy images, try the "Sport" mode - I've taken photos while riding on boats and in cars that are still clear - and videos, too. The macro and super macro modes do a good job.....
Summary: I bought a pre-own camera, consider in good working condition. Although this is an earlier model (now 8080), because i have the underwater housing, which don't cater for other models, so decided to buy 1010 again, mine was stolen. The features, such as the optical zoom of 7X and digital zoom 5X is very high, compare to the later pocket size models. 10.1MP is reasonable resolution even after 2 years since my first Olympus 1010.
Not worth the money (unless you buy a good warranty plan)

Summary: I had this camera for about 3 years. I had to send it in for repairs after about 9 months when my friend dropped it. After charging me over $90 to fix it, they sent it back, and it worked almost as well as it did before *Bob* dropped it. Sometimes, however, the camera wouldn't turn unless I pushed the power button two or three times. Sometimes the image on the screen would be nothing but a fuzzy blob.
Summary: This camera has everything you need in a small point & shoot camera. It works in any type of lighting. Has tons of power with the propietary battery that comes with it. The photos are sharp & clear & you have many different modes to shoot in. I bought 2 of this particular style camera for friends as I like mine so much & now so do they. I always have it in my purse when I go anywhere. Its features are easy to work and the menus are easy to understand. GO OLYMPUS!!!
