Summary: I've had this camera while. I've played with the panoramic feature which is cool and works ever so neat. I mainly use it for point and shoot pics, which this camera is overkill for, but it takes those so great.
Summary: Purchased this camera after having bought, and subsequently returned, a Nikon that we were not pleased with. We'd previously had an Olympus that was accidently dropped. It was several years old and would have been prohibitively expensive to repair.
What a GREAT CAMERA !! Totally exceeded my expectations!

Summary: I had been wanting a new camera for awhile. I love taking nature pic's, along with candid family pic's , but nature is my favorite. With all the settings on the camera there is no way you can miss your shot ! The pic's are so crisp and clear, even if zoomed to maximum .
Summary: I'm very pleased with the picture quality, and the high def video. I do have trouble steadying the camera for the videos, but I'm trying to work on improving that. Of course, the tighter you zoom in, the more "jittery" the video gets. It's a matter of trying to steady the camera.
Summary: This is a fun Camera to use. I don't have all the bells and whistles down yet,but I have taken Head Shots and some very nice vistas with this Olympus. As usual the Japanese Quality is there. It is easy to charge the battery. It can also take Viedo.
Summary: I was so disappointed that there was not a written manual with the camera. I could not download the manual from my camera as I have a Mac computer and the System Requirements state in very small letters on the phamphlet; Windows XP (SP2 or later) or Windows Vista and Windows 7. I thought, oh no.
Summary: I should say right from the outset, the most important factor in buying a digital camera for me is the camera's zoom capability. Several years ago, I began my digital camera collection with a cheap Samsung (S630), followed the year after with the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-8 (432mm zoom) and the next...
Summary: There are so many models out there and this camera is really a good fit for those who want to just take good looking photos and videos without having to go to school to learn how to operate this camera.
