Summary: Absolutely the worst camera I have ever bought. I got it and then became sick, so it sat in it's case for six months. When I got better, I tried using it and found out that it has multiple problems with focus and exposure.
Summary: I read the many reviews here on Amazon, and having found a great price, I bought one. Wish I had saved my money. Yes, it does have a long range zoom, but for me, the camera is hard to hold and shakes.
Summary: I bought this about 2 years ago and use it a lot on vacation and now and then other times. It is is a little complicated to use as it has many alternative features however the poctures are good. I tried to use it yesterday and the zoom lens comes out and stays out.
really slow auto focus, poor pics especially zoomed

Summary: I bought an Olympus SP-800UZ after reading the reviews befor they came out in the stores (I wish I had waited) I gave mine to my daughter (only because she needed one) and I didn't care if she lost it or it got damaged as I found the camera to be very poor on all its functions, Even the settings...
Pros: It is a cheap camera, light weight
Cons: multi pics are not going to happen auto focus is especially slow on zoomed in pics and picture quality is not that good
Summary: I used to have a sony camera dsc-h3, I bought this olympus wich was suposed to have some better features (more resolution and zoom, take panoramic pictures). but it was a major disapointment: resolution is not good, color of the pictures never looks like the objects you are seeing; if you use any...
Summary: I was happy to see a camera with 30x zoom, but I could not accept the image quality. Amazon was very generous with their return policy, and I'm now a very happy owner of a Canon EOS 60D. I suggest you to compare camera sample images at [...] before choosing a camera.
Summary: Received this camera as a gift and have had trouble with it from day one. It has a lot of nifty settings, but if you just want a simple point and shoot camera and don't want the hassle of figuring out how to operate it, pass on the Olympus SP 800uz.
Summary: NEWEGG was great with the return. Great way how it was handled koodles to newegg for having great customer support!
Pros: This camera is very bad! The one I recieved looked as though it was a 2 dollar camera. the color was very saturated and the zoom. It seems the lens itself is already zoomed in. I had the nikon coolpix x15 optical zoom. GREAT camera btw! Thking the olympus would be better but it doesnt come close ...
Cons: The Zoom doesnt stay steady at all when it focuses and then refocuses. + its ugly.. Others dont seem to have the same exp as me but as i stated i could have had a bad camera though it was new.
Summary: I have purchased several cameras over the past year, and this is by far the worse camera I have ever bought. It may have 30x Wide Optical Zoom, but what good is that when it takes so long for it to focus and the pic caputred (after it take so long to focus) comes out blurry.
