Using the TruePic III image processor, the Olympus Sp-560UZ produces high quality, realistic images that users can enjoy. With its 8.0 megapixel CCD, prints in 16 x 22 inches can be printed in high photo-quality. Through the Sp-560UZ’s 18x super telephoto zoom it captures precise detail in images. It has the Face Detection technology that detects faces in the frame to make incredible portraits. It also has the Shadow Adjustment Technology that solves different challenges in outdoor shooting. Another feature is the Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization; it adjusts the CCD when camera shake occurs when zooming in an image. It also has the Digital Image Stabilization and Dual Image Stabilization technology all for a high quality photo.

Features

The Sp-560UZ has a 2.5 inch LCD with an electronic viewfinder. It can capture images at up to an astonishing 15 frames per second and with it comes a Pre-capture technology that captures action after and prior fully pressing the shutter button. It has a 47MB internal memory that can still be expandable through a 1GB or 2GB XD Picture cards. It can be directly connected to a computer through a USB 2.0 port.

We described the Fuji S8000fd as trying to be all things to all people, but that was before we really got to grips with the Olympus SP-560UZ. The number of features and options available on the Olympus is frankly comical. You could use this camera for years without ever finding all the (often fairly pointless) things it can do, so numerous and deeply buried in menus are they. The SP-560UZ has more features than most users will ever discover, let alone want to use. Thi... Read more

Long zooms used to be 10x or maybe 12x, but 2007 was the year that Olympus introduced the 18x zoom; and before the year goes out, Olympus has rolled out an improved version with more resolution, and speed enhancements galore. In addition to its 8.0 megapixel sensor, the Olympus SP-560 also sports new features like the Effects Preview and Shadow Adjustment Technology. More importantly, shutter lag is greatly reduced, making the Olympus SP-560 nearly irresistible. Thoug... Read more

The Olympus SP-560 UZ provides a full-featured ultra zoom with a 27mm wide-angle for large group and wide landscape shots and a 486mm tele to bring far scenes up close. Sensor-shift image stabilization helps eliminate camera shake when using long focal lengths. This camera is packed with features that should appeal to the serious amateur photographer. It is now in an (almost) all-black body with a DSL... Read more

It is a chamber called the Bridge or hybrid, with advanced features of compact cameras and basic characteristics of reflex. This in practice means that an inexperienced user, but interested in photography, can exploit advanced features with a minimum of one afternoon learning to be progressing slowly without changing camera for a good time. And this is in my opinion the target audience for this type of machine, therefore is very versatile and flexible in the number an... Read more
