The Perfect Camera for Anyone

Summary: I have owned this camera since 2005. It was stolen from my home recently, and I just purchased another one. I compared this camera to all of Olympus's other remakes and none can compare to the picture quality.
Conclusion: One problem with reviews is that most opinions are based on first impressions and some limited testing, little can be said about the longevity of a particular product other than "it feels solid", as the Olympus SP-550 certainly does.
Summary: After much research I bought this camera over a year ago. It is just what I wanted. It is light-weight even considering the features it has. My favorite thing about it is the 18 power zoom lens. I often use it to photograph wildlife that won't let me get very close.
Summary: The product arrived quick! Everything was in there and it is in time for my dad's trip to Europe. Some stuff was duplicate of what he already has like the bag and the tripod, but i had known that before ordering. The filters and the lenses are what I was looking to buy.
Summary: This package is a must have for your camera! It has almost everything you need to get the professional look without having to know everything about your camera. Only thing I think it is missing is a micro lens but you can get that seperatly if needed.
Summary: I highly recommend a xD memory card Type H, that way, you should be able to store pictures and video's without any writting problems with the camera. The difference between Type M and Type H is that Type H transfer data faster than type M.
Pros: This camera takes very goog high quality pictures. All of the features From 15 frame per second burst rates, to adjustable ampature and shutter. The optical zoom works really well with this camera. As far as the video, the video is clear and there are hardly no digital scrambles on this camera. S...
Cons: Auto-focus is sometimes unpredictable. This camera is not recomended for a beginner who want to own a digital camera for the first time. It will not fit in your pocket, so the owner of this camera better have a big enough case to put it in.
Summary: I've had mine for a couple of months now and am really happy with it. The zoom is incredible. Surprisingly the wide angle mode is one of the most useful capabilities that the zoom lens affords. There are many situations where you can't back up any further and need to get everyone in the shot.
Summary: Can't say enough about this camera..... & I still have a lot to learn about it. Just got it about a month ago, & went on a Caribbean cruise last week. I have some beautiful pictures with this thing....
Summary: I bought this camera in hopes of learning more about photography then just point and shoot. It allows me to operate it manually, by changing the aperture and shutter speeds and also manually focusing it . It also shoots in RAW format as well, which was another selling point for me.

Summary: I bought two of these cameras, one for me and one for my wife. The biggest selling point was the 18X optical zoom. I sold a Canon S2 IS (which I loved) to buy this one, so my expectations were pretty high.
