Excerpt: I love my Olympus! This is the second one I’ve had, because I thought that I lost my first one. The SP-510 series has a huge lens, it takes awesome photos! With its 2.5″ LCD you’ll really see what you’re capturing.
Excerpt: This is an amazing digital camera which my wife bought a little while ago. It takes excellent quality pictures, too bad that they take up three times the memory, so i strongly reccomend that you buy a 2gigabite sd-card, so you will be able to keep about 200 picture …
Summary: This camera is my second Olympics. I still have the first one and it works great even still, the new one is a more expensive and featured model. And used this camera a lot taking it on several hunting trips to South America, as well as fishing vacations. It has been our family camera and it takes great pictures. I love the editing program that comes with it and I use it a lot. If I ever need to buy and other camera, Olympus will be at the top of my list.
Summary: This camera is really great. It takes beautiful pictures. And it is easy to use. I did not get a manual with the one I bought but I was able to find it on line very quickly. It takes very nice pictures inside as well as outside.
Summary: I love this camera. I've had one for years and recently got this one for my daughter. The optics are superb! I've been buying Olympus for years for just this reason. I even traded in my old Nikon SLR (film) for this camera. The camera is light and compact with a 10x optical zoom. I really like the view finder option for use when it's really sunny out. The best feature, any why my daughter wanted this camera, is the shoot and select option.
Excerpt: I have owned my Olympus E-510 Digital SLR for about a year and a half. I have taken thousands of photos and have really come to rely on its dependability. It's menu's are easy to access and easy to understand. It's dials and buttons are also well placed for easy access. I am using the two kit lens, a 14-42mm and a 40-150 mm, plus I bought a 70-300mm telephoto lens. This camera has image stabilization technology to help prevent camera shake.
Excerpt: I bought this camera a couple years ago for about 125$ on ebay, wanting a prosumer camera (something between a regular point and shoot and a professional camera with more control). In natural lighting, it gives crisp, professional-looking photographs that have tons of potential if ran through an editing program. With indoor or low lighting, this camera fails with it's high noisy level. There is a ton of control with this Olympus and even a panorama feature!
Excerpt: I was lucky to have purchased my camera on sale which made it an even better deal. It's simple to use and reviewing or deleting pictures you have just taken is an easy two step process. This camera will take pictures antomatically or one can adjust the aperture and shutter speed. There is also an option to shoot videos with sound; this is a great option at sporting events.
Excerpt: I've had an Olympus SP510UZ digital camera for 3 years and I still love it. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies and I'm starting to get into lighting, composition, etc.. This camera is really easy to use. You don't need to set any complicated settings in order to get good pictures, but you can experiment with them if you want to. It has great zoom and the pictures are really high-quality. The camera automatically focuses and adjusts the light settings very well.
Summary: I decided to buy this one after much research. I'm not a pro at picture taking, just a mom with lots of memories. All of the descriptions about the camera are correct. I love it! The zoom is great and more. Still learning other features, and can't wait. It is as light as a disposeable camera. I like both the view finder and screen, which is pretty large. I'm a stickler for price, and this was a great buy.
