Summary: Love this camera. What a deal at $120, although I feel it is worth a great deal more. Great auto features and manual control as well. Amazing clarity, quick shutter. Focus may be a tad bit slow for action photography if that's what you need, but for me, I couldn't be happier.
Summary: Wanted this camera really bad and waited a year for the price to go down .. It's a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT .. The Camer is SUPER SLOW and the Video quality which they claim to be Professional quality "IS Not" I Hardly ever use this camera as its Performance is HORRBLE ! Wish I Never WASTED my Money on it. I'm sorry to say.
Summary: Nice little camera a baby step up from a basic point and shoot but not a full fledged DSLR. The camera is not great in low light but in all other ways the Olympus PEN E-PL1 12.3MP Live MOS Micro Four Thirds Interchangeable Lens meets my very basic needs. The camera was cheap fun to use and easy on my wallet. I took one star off due to lots of noise in low light. If you are outside or in a brightly lit room this camera is great.
Plenty bang for the buck, can produce amazing images with the right lens (Panasonic 20mm f1.7)

Summary: If you're just getting into interchangeable lens photography, here's my advice: Find the lens you want, then get a camera that fits it. - In my case, it was the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 Even though this camera is four years old now, it is still quite capable. I purchased this camera specifically to pair it with a shallow, bright lens for photos of my baby. This was purchased a few weeks before she was born, and my first photos of her were taken with it.
Summary: My brothers had been raving about the format. This was an inexpensive body to start shooting with the m43 mount. Very capable body to go with lenses which are already well known for quality of images.
Summary: Bought it for my wife so she can use some of here legacy Olympus lenses. It works great. Awesome pictures and ease of use. She loves it. I even bought a lens adapter for my Nikon lenses for it. The viewfinder is hard to see in the bright light (like most digital viewfinders) but I put and magnifying viewfinder on it and it works perfectly. VERY NICE camera for the price!
