Summary: This replaces my Olympus E-PL1 that still works very well. The difference in 5 years of technology advancement is astounding. Hence, my rating. I paired this with a 32GB Sandisk Extreme, and in continuous mode, it filled 10GB without slowing down.
Summary: Great camera. I have been wanting to upgrade from p&s. when the sale on omd 10 came I just could not say no. I have a om 1 Film camera I bought while I was in Germany years ago it has taken thousands of pics. I expect this camera to take just as many pics.
Excerpt: I am a professional photographer getting back into the profession after twenty years. I have been very pleased with the quality of the photos. The learning curve on all its *many* features has taken some time, but after a few weeks of practice and a careful study of the manual, I'm finally getting...
Pros: Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Low cost, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I needed a camera to take on vacation. I normally use a Nikon D800 but it has become to heavy to travel with. The Olympus ill not take award winning photo, but for travel snapshots, it is a great camera. Also .... you will get very good photos for a small investment in equipment ...
Pros: Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: Olympus always have the best design and the O-M10 is no exception. It's beautiful. And don't judge it by the small body, this one can take very good photos. People with large hands will feel the need for a grip though.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Summary: A superb m43 camera, great value. I bought this over the much more expensive M1, a bargain at $390 (body only). Works well with my m43 lenses and a adapted Canon lenses. A joy to use, with tough screen, double exposures, and more -- go online for set up, well worth the effort [see Earl Bauer's blog...
Excerpt: This camera (camera type more specifically) isn't for everyone. I'm only an amateur photography, shooting the occasional portrait and architecture mostly. I had a DSLR for many years and loved it. The only problem for me was, it was clunky.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: This camera is great for beautiful quality photos for everyday use. The zoom range is very limited but is not a deal breaker for me personally. The weight is light but substantial at the same time so it doesn't feel cheap or easily breakable.
Excerpt: I have played a little bit with this camera over the past 3 days and I keep finding more reasons why I love it! First off I am a pro photographer and I love my D4s. However I wanted a camera I could take anywhere any time. This is a great system for that.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Summary: This is an amazing "upgrade" from my older E-PL1. I already had two zoom lenses that work perfectly with this body. The extra 4MP enhances the captured images and the EVF provides an excellent eye-level view.
