Summary: I moved from an Olympus E-M5 to the E-M1. So most of my review of this camera will address the benefits over the M5. I used the M5 for about 9 months prior to moving to the M1, which I have now been using for the past 2 months.
Summary: I was reluctant to get a compact system camera when my E-5 started to wear out, but after being unhappy with a brief stint with Canon I decided to buy it. Now, I wish I had bought it sooner. The pictures are incredible and the high ISOs are amazing, and it is amazingly fast.
Summary: This is the Olympus OMD-EM1 without the US warranty. With a lifestyle that obliges me to live and work outside the US, this decision is a no-brainer. Saving $200 is a bonus. This is a terrific camera, that was until recently held back by the absence of a comprehensive range of top-end lenses.

Summary: I love the crop factor on a four tthrids camera which gives you great range for wildlife photography. The in camera stabilization and weather sealing are big pluses for this camera. I started out with a Sony A6000 but it did not have the reach for the type of wildlife photography that I do.
