Very happy with it so far

Hudson, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Replaced my Canon 70D with the OM-D E-M1 and am very happy with that decision. The decision was driven by me wanting to take my camera underwater in the near future and I thought the 70D was just a bit too much to handle for that, so I decided to switch over.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Small / Compact

Great Camera

WhyNot, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: The E-M1 provides the best Image Quality and Handling of any camera I have owned or used. IMHO the great reviews and accolades it has received are well deserved. If your prints have dimensions measured measured in the feet or you shoot pictures in the dark then there are better cameras that I have...
  • Pros: Easy to Use
  • Cons: Short Battery Life

  • Excerpt: I purchased a backup body when B&H ran their special a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't matter the brand, you gotta have a back up if you are making money with your gear. OM-1 is a terrific little camera...lets me get shots I would have missed with other equipment.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact

Very Good Camera

  • Excerpt: I have been using Nikon D7000 with various lenses for some time now. Though the quality of pictures are superb, the weight and handling of the camera was becoming a problem specially with zoom lenses. It was taking a toll on my back.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
  • Cons: Short Battery Life

GREAT CAMERA

  • Excerpt: I bought my E-M1 mostly for travel. I love how compact it is, the quick focus, ease in tailoring settings to suit my needs and the fact that it is very well made. My only complaint are the manuals which are several levels below the quality of the camera itself!
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact

Follow up after nearly a year

Anthony Terrot, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Really good product and very advanced. The Mk 2 when it comes really should have an input guard (most cameras seem not to have them but they are really useful in limiting damage to the camera's female connection.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Excellent Stableization, Fast Shutter Speed, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact, Stills' Hdr
  • Cons: No Decent Flash, Poor Wifi Interface

I figured at worst if I have to send in for a repair ...

Duane, Amazon
15 May 2015
  • Summary: As advertise well packaged and arrived in a week. No Warranty though but I was willing to take that risk to save $500.00. I figured at worst if I have to send in for a repair I'd still be money ahead.
