A new revolution

Dwain, B&H Photo
15 July 2014
  • Excerpt: I think with the produce of EM-1 it's easier to decide to switch your big, heavy, bulky D-SLR with this precious camera. Thanks to B&H to give me this opportunity. It's small but very easy to hold in the hand. You feel like you're holding a D-SLR grip but at the same time you feel like you're carrying a compact camera. IQ is very good but M43 systems still need some improvements on long exposure shots.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
  • Cons: Poor in Low Light

Love This Camera

FotoGyrl, B&H Photo
7 July 2014
  • Excerpt: I love this camera. It was an upgrade purchase from my Panasonic Lumix and totally worth it. It is light and easy to handle and it does just about anything you could ask for. The quality of the photos are amazing. The actual set up for the camera has a pretty steep learning curve but every day I figure out a new feature - and there are plenty to go. I didn't want to go with the bigger DSLR and this has turned out just great.
  • Pros: Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD
  • Cons: Requires Manual

Powerful camera in a small package

  • Excerpt: Was looking for something that was more powerful than my Panasonic Lumix LX5 but not as bulky my 5DII for a walk around and general travel camera. After much research, settled on this gem with the 12-40 2.8 and the 17 1.8. Have been incredibly pleased with this kit. It is great for events as it is unobtrusive. The focus is responsive and the touch screen is a joy.
  • Pros: Small / Compact
  • Cons: Complicated Controls

Awesome...I love this camera

  • Excerpt: I'm a wildlife photographer, the 10 fps is super for capturing subjects. Lowest noise of all my Olympus cameras, the onboard video is a real plus for my captures also. I love it's feel, that I can use my 4/3 lenses with the micro 4/3 adapter. Stabilization and focus are superb. I have yet to explore all the other functions available on this camera and can't wait. A super little camera with a lot of bang.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact

Everything that I wanted.......

  • Excerpt: I am a Canon Dslr user but needed something smaller during family events' etc. and where it's more convenient not to pull out a "Big Gun". So far I love what I've shot. Never having an Olympus, the controls were pretty easy to figure out quickly. The EVF is fantastic and I am able to make adjustment quickly which is important as I shoot manually primarily. The hand grip gives it a great "Feel" as that was one of my concerns, being small and with an uncomfortable feel.
  • Pros: Colors Are Fantastic, Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD
  • Cons: Short Battery Life
