Summary: I've had this camera for a year now. It is brilliant. Ergonomically, fantastic. Fully customizable. The viewfinder is excellent. IQ is great. Auto-focus is blazing fast. The image stabilization is absolutely amazing - shooting the 45mm at 1/10 and it turns out sharp - wow. While it gets a bad rap for video, its great for hand held video due to the IS. Really, a great camera. The primary downside to the Oly cameras is the semi-archaic menu system, but you get used to it.
Excerpt: One word sums it up for this camera - spectacular. Love the weight and size - and with the PRO lens, the IQ is wornderful. Accepting that the camera will not do as well in low light as some of the full sensor higher end Nikon or Canon, the trade-off for size and weight is well worth it. My back and feet are already thanking me.
Pros: Fast Shutter Speed, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Awesome dslr replacement, especially for the traveler

Summary: This camera is making me seriously consider giving up my full frame canon 5d Mark III. I am not there yet, but the more I shoot, the more impressed I am with any numbers of things. 1. Sensor quality. 2. Speed. 3. Image stabilization. 4. JPEG customization. 5.abilty to customize the device itself. 6. And it is WEATHERPROOF. I am thinking about the 40-150 2.8 but it's a lot of $$. The oly pro MFT lenses are fantastic.
Excerpt: Having owned an Olympus E-PL5 for about two years, I recently purchased the E-M1. It is a huge step up. While the E-PL5's image quality is very good, the E-M1's is even better. But what I really like about the E-M1 is the build quality. It has a robust, solid, quality feel to it. Large, deeply knurled control wheels fall directly under the thumb and index finger. And there are customizable buttons all over. The E-M1 is the fastest camera I've ever owned.
Pros: Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Summary: I have had the camera for about five months now and have used it in a variety of situations. I love it. The camera is made of metal, feels so much better in the hand than my bulky full frame Nikon D600. In terms of the look and feel, it reminds me of a mid 70's SLR, but the "brain" of the camera is cutting edge. This camera is incredibly capable and customizable. Sometimes that complexity can be a bit daunting, but you get past that.
Excerpt: I have had this camera for 3 weeks and it had turned out to be everything I thought it would be. Its so very easy to handle and the image quality is just flat outstanding. I bought the 12-40 lens and I find it to be quite comfortable in my hands and easy to handle.

Summary: Don't even know where to start. This was recommended by several friends who have it and I am pleased I took their recommendation. Pic are awesome! Only drawback is that it has so many features and Olympus did a horrible job walking you through them. You can find a lot on you tube though. Highly recommend this extraordinary camera!!!
Excerpt: I previously owned an E-M5 which is a great camera but struggled in low light conditions. My daughter is a gymnast and I do a lot of action photography inside gyms. The E-M1 coupled with the 12-40mm f2.8 lens is producing super sequential action shots. Next stop the new 40-150mm f2.8 lens.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light
