its great when it works, but getting to work isn't a reality

Summary: I purchased this camera because of the "tough" and underwater features for my first cruise. As soon as I got it, I installed everything the way I was supposed to. I tried some test shots and used it around the house and at different events (a parade, a school concert) and was happy with the quality...
Summary: The camera has a good look and feel, it's very rugged and the weight is just right. Now, what really disappointed me was the auto-focus feature. It doesn't perform well under low light, specially indoors. You have to make several attempts to get the camera to focus.
Summary: I took my camera for underwater pictures and I made sure I double locked the camera so no water gets inside and it was working for first few minutes and than it froze on me. Water still got inside the camera and it is NOT working anymore.
Summary: I'm no picture pro but I like to hike with my camera and have something that will fit in a pocket to take to parties and shows that won't weight me down but will take better pictures than my phone. this in not that camera. I had the older version of this camera and it worked great.
Summary: i owned the olympus stylus tough 1030sw for many years and absolutely LOVED it! it's still working great, but due to something that is my fault, it's no longer waterproof. for that reason, i ordered a second camera to have on-hand and figured why change brands/models when i was so pleased w/ my...
Summary: Great camera when it works. But Olympus has terrible customer service so when the camera is damaged in the water just after the one year mark, it's apparently the customer's fault since the seal was "supposed" to be replaced.
Summary: I really want an underwater pocket sized camera that will take decent pictures underwater and good to great pictures elsewhere. This 14 megapixel camera does not take good enough pictures when set on 5 or 8 megapixels to make it worth the purchase.
Poor image quality, poor customer service, prone to break

Summary: I drag my stuff through rough conditions, and this camera seems to stand up to the challenge, while also taking excellent pictures. First off, this camera replaces an SW720, which I had for 3 or 4 years. My son took that one to Vietnam with him, so I got this one to replace it.
Summary: My wife and I got this camera for a 9-month trip around the world. We thought we could take this one along on days when we'd be adventuring in the outdoors and didn't want to take along the nice Nikon SLR.
my cell phone takes better pictures, only Pro is it's waterproof

Summary: All the Pics are grained, it may be acceptable if you reduce it's size 4 times, but at 14 Megapixels natural it's like making a 2 MP photo, seven times bigger using paint, i tried every option and read all the owner's manual, there's no way to get better pics, it has very low quality in colors and...
