Summary: This was a great camera. The picture quality is really good most of the time. Sometimes the quality isn't great but that I've attributed to user error simply because I'm not the best photographer and I still have trouble figuring out which settings to use for which situations. Other than that I love the fact that the batteries are rechargable and we can plug it into our car. This was definately the best price around too. The speed is ok not the best I'm sure.
Summary: I purchased this because my Kodak DX6490 is too large to fit in my pocket and too heavy to where on my neck for long periods. I wanted something small, light weight and took great pictures. I'm not sure if you can have both (small and takes great pictures). I guess my Kodak has spoiled me. The Stylus takes good pictures and has many features, but does not have the picture quality that my DX6490 has.
Summary: I've been through a bit of cameras til I came to this one. I wanted a camera that has crisp pictures without having to use flash all the time. I also wanted one that could take night shots all the same with or without flash. I came back to the olympus family line. This camera takes beautiful pictures, has focus help. I have children so I take pictures alot. My children don't stand still, but this camera manages to capture them anyway most the time without the flash.
Summary: I bought this camera to take to Kenya last year thinking that I would come back with high quality photos. I was wrong. Not having a view finder was the first problem I had to deal with. In the bright sunlight you can't see the screen, so you can't frame your photo. Various functions of the camera don't work in all modes. I took the camera to Italy this year hoping for better results. I shot all day but when I went to review my photos, there were none there.
Summary: Love this camera - got it for my sister at Christmas who had an accident and didn't open it until a couple months after Christmas. I ordered the kit which included the memory card. However, it had the incorrect memory card - I contacted them and they very nicely sent another one which was also wrong. I don't understand if this company sells the product why they can't send the correct memeory card.
Summary: This camera is high quality for the price tag. The features are up-to-date, and all the ones I've tried have worked as they were promised, and I was pleased with the quality, speed and high capacity of supported storage devices. The only drawback is that the battery needs to be removed and charged in a separate device (which is fairly small and lightweight). While this is an inconvenience, I imagine it is to cut down on the unit size/weight.
Summary: I just got this camera yesterday and spent quite a bit of time playing around with it. So far it seems great! I was taking pictures of my very active children last night and didn't get one blurry shot. All my pictures came out clear and vibrant. The menu and different features are very user friendly. I was a little afraid to buy this camera because of some of the bad reviews and I was worried because the price so cheap, but so far it looks like I got a great deal.
Summary: I have had this camera less than a month and have had to send it back to the company for repairs. The zoom is not working and I was on a trip to Longwood gardens and the camera would not focus so most of the photos I took that I thought I would use for paintings are out of focus. I am really disappointed! Also the controls are hard to identify.
