Exceptional Olympus Digital Camera Feature Packed
9 April 2012
Summary: Exceptional camera that has lots of unique features programmed into it. I have done progessional 35mm and Digital photography over the years as a hobby and part time profession. This camera offers significant value in the form of features and flexibity. It includes a slide show built into the camera, HDMI interface to allow for display over a TV with HDMI access and color correcting features that are exceptional. Light in weight and packs a punch that is sure to please.
Summary: This lil camera has a lot of features that I am still learning to use. I take pictures of dolls and am having a difficult time trying to get a close-up that is neither too close nor too grainy. I wanted a close up of a doll's face and the setting I used would only come into focus when I had the camera so close all I could see in the display was a huge eye!! Not exactly what I wanted...maybe I should have photographed an ant, lol.
Summary: This is a very nice & compact camera. It's very easy to use & figure out right out of the box. The zoom is perfect for what I use it for. There is a nice large LCD screen on it. Review and save/delete functions are easy. The one downfall is the second or two between pressing the button to take the picture and the picture being taken. After talking with other people who use digital cameras, this seems to be a typical problem regardless of manufacturer.
Summary: I wanted a camera with small size and wide angle features. I also wanted one with larger LCD display than the tiny one my old Kodak camera had. I had accomplished all those goals by having purchased the Olympus Stylus 7000. Also, the tremendous array of features this camera offers will keep me entertained and learning about photography for a long time.
Summary: I am sure there are critics out there and I am sure some have more expieriance judging cameras and quality. I personnaly love it. There are more then enough features to pull off some really awesome shots. If you want a camera to pick up and grab a shot its fine! For a beginner, you'll have something that will teach you what to look for if you want a really good camera.
Summary: This is my second Olympus camera and it is fantastic. The display is huge and the pictures are very high quality for the price. My only regret is the lag time between being able to take pictures. It isn't very "quick on the draw" but if that is its only imperfection then I am ok with it!
Summary: I love this camera. It is easy to use and takes great pictures. On a recent family trip it was knocked out of the car, and was found in perfect working condition after being under snow for 6 days.
Summary: I just bought this camera to replace a camera that was stolen, and have to say that Olympus definitely makes the best cameras. Though many friends and family members have problems with difficult to program and use cameras, I have never had a problem with mine. This camera is lightweight, pretty, and takes an amazingly clear picture. The controls are easy to figure out and I like the software that comes with the camera.
Summary: This is my third Olympus camera. First one chewed by new puppy, second one dropped and really destroyed. This one has lots of features I probably will not use but I am very happy with the features I do use. The 'Beauty' feature is something else, erasing wrinkles. Everyone I have showed this feature to have taken down the name of the camera. I think that would sell the camera alone. Now if it could also take 10 pounds of the subject ........
