Summary: I bought this camera for my 11 year old daughter-but we have all adopted it as our family camera. The biggest reason is the speed of this camera. Once you take a picture, there is no delay before the picture appears on the viewer and allows you to take another.
Summary: I purchased this camera because my other Olympus was run over by a lawnmower. The camera fit my price range at the time, which was a very small budget, and provided me a way to have photos for my son's first trip to Disney. However, I think I got exactly what I paid for in purchasing this camera.
Summary: I had a little automatic Canon for 6 years that was great...until it broke. I tried to buy something similar and this Olympus takes grainy pictures quite often. Not always, so I didn't realize I wanted to return it until it was too late to return.
Summary: I had an Olympus FE600 and I LOVED it. Loved the construction and the ease of use. I fractured the screen and looked everywhere for a replacement. This model received great reviews, so I purchased it.
Summary: The camera worked, I took some good pictures. Then when the battery died, I tried to charge it. I charged it and put it back in the camera but the camera still wouldn't work. It was too late to return the camera to Overstock because the battery really lasted a long time.
Summary: I gave this camera to my wife and she has become quite the photographer with it. We took it with us to Israel and we were so blown away by the quality of the pictures it took in Jerusalem, at the Dead Sea, at the Sea of Galilee, Masada, etc...
Summary: The Olympus is a very good camera but when I bought in April there was not one in the stores to look at. I was looking for a camera that took pictures quickly not having a 5 second delay after you push the button before it actually took the picture. I tried a Sony in the store and it was very fast.
