The Olympus FE-47 is a digital camera that features a 14 Megapixels (effective), 1/2.3" sensor with 36 – 180mm equivalent in 35mm photography focal length, 5x Optical Zoom and 4x Digital Zoom, f3.5 (W) / f5.6 (T) aperture range, a 2.7" LCD (230,000 dots) display with 2 steps brightness adjustment, 23.6" – infinity (0.6m – infinity) (wide)/39.4" – infinity (1.0m – infinity) (tele) focal range; 1/2000 sec. –1/4 seconds shutter speed and an ISO sensitivity of up to 1600. The Olympus FE-47 supports JPEG still image format and AVI Motion JPEG movie recording format. The camera also features Digital Image Stabilization, 21 Shooting Modes, Magic Filter, built-in flash, Red-Eye Reduction, an internal 18 MB memory, and is powered by two NI-MH (AAx2) batteries that provide up to 120 shots. The Olympus FE-47 measures 3.8"W x 2.4"H x 1.1"D and weighs 6.1oz without batteries and media card.

The Olympus FE-47 is a 14 megapixel digital camera that supports poster-sized prints. It features 5x Optical Zoom that gets the users closer to the action, and a 2.7 inch LCD display with extra-wide viewing angle and anti-glare technology for composing and shooting even in direct, bright sunlight. Other features on the Olympus FE-47 include AF Tracking which automatically tracks unpredictable, fast-moving subjects such as kids and pets, and continuously adjusts the focus and brightness to capture them; Advanced Face Detection which tracks up to 16 faces and automatically focuses and optimizes exposures; Digital Image Stabilization which uses higher ISO and faster shutter speeds to capture blur-free images; Intelligent Auto which identifies the scene being shot and adjusts the settings to optimize results and Creative Art Filters with four different Magic Filters, including Pop Art, Pinhole, Fisheye and Drawing. The camera also features 21 Shooting Mode, VGA movie recording with sound, In-Camera Help Guides, Perfect Fix function which activates two different editing features, post shot, to correct red-eye, and lighting. The FE- 47 supports SD media which is compatible with computers, digital picture frames and HDTVs.
