Summary: This camera is cheap. I read all the reviews and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt since it seemed to be a good camera. Now I know you get what you pay for. It has horrible resolution if you want to zoom in on any picture you take, and it takes forever for it to actually take the picture once you push the button down. If I were you reading this review, I would look elsewhere.
Summary: The camera was bought as a gift for friend overseas. On first use there were black lines on the screen. Return & took six weeks for Olympus to repair. Returned to friend overseas . Four weeks later black lines developed on screen & grew to about one third of screen.
Summary: I purchased the camera to go on a trip and didn't have a chance to try it out before the trip. I wish I had because I would have returned it before I left. The camera will not focus. I have sent it in to olympus to be fixed, they replaced the lens and some other parts but it still does not focus. it has a lot of fun features but it's not worth taking pictures if they are all going to be blurry. I wish I never wasted my money on this camera.
bad camera, takes blurry pictures, not worth even though cheap

Summary: bought this camera a year ago, but buying a new one again. I tried all possible combinations of setting but this camera takes blurry pictures 80% of the time. wasted lot of good picture opportunities. yes it has lots of features but don;t see the point if it cannot even take good pictures.
Summary: I purchased this camera less than a year ago, and despite the stabilization feature, about 90% of my photos turn out blurry and/or grainy. If lighting conditions are perfect I can get a clear photo; most of the time lighting conditions aren't perfect. I've talked to people about the blurry/grainy problem at a local camera shop and they believe that there is a defect in the internal stabilization.
