Summary: I may be a bit spoiled by my Canon S5IS camera (which is an in-between SLR and P&S camera)but my wife received this camera for Christmas. When she received it I was a bit hesitant because I was going to buy her a P&S for her birthday soon after Christmas and I did extensive research for smaller P&S...
Summary: I bought this camera because it looked pretty in the store catalog. However, I was an idiot and did not check to see how the image quality was of the pictures it takes. All of the pictures seem to make the background darker than it really is, and you cannot change it!
Summary: The body is plastic and the front is deep pink/magenta chrome. It's a bit richer color than in the photo. It holds up rather well in cold too.. Took it skiing in Sweden with me (-36C) The shutter doesn't freeze and the battery doesn't die right away. I think the selling point here is the video.
Pros: It's nice looking(while it lasts). It's small, light. 12 Mpx- Takes great video for being a point and shoot! If you don't like playing with the aperture and exposure, it has a lot of options for preset scenes; such as fireworks, indoors and sports. I usually find myself using the anti-shake mode ...
Cons: The body of the camera is plastic which feels, and is, cheap. The front is a finger print magnet, and the back faceplate magically get scratched from being inside the camera bag with nothing next to it. aka, don't be too attached to the appearance of your camera.. The flash blows everything out; ...
Summary: I actually sent this camera back. My last two cameras were Canon and I loved them. I couldn't afford to replace the Canon that I had that was stolen, so I decided to take a chance on this one. The picture quality wasn't as good as I was used to having with my previous cameras.
Summary: Very poor picture quality with this camera, you might think you're saving money buying this one instead of a nicer model for 30-50 dollars more but you sacrifice a ton of quality -- don't buy this one.
Summary: I bought this camera so that I could have a point-and-shoot and maybe take a few nice scenics if the chance arose. The portability of this camera is great... I can slip it into the back pocket of my jeans or into the PDA pocket of my purse easily.
Summary: I have never written a review about any item. I bought this for my daughter after much research. She is in college and takes many pictures. I wish I could send this camera back. I have tried everything to make the pictures so they are not blurry. When people move, they are blurry.
