Summary: Purchased two for Christmas. One began to malfunction within the first 60 days. When I attempted to zoom, the lens would pulsate in and out a few times and then the camera would power down. It would often power down with the lens protruding from the camera.
Summary: I had this item for two weeks and was kneeling on the floor taking a picture and the camera slipped out of my hands. It fell maybe a foot (remember, I was kneeling). When i picked it back up it would not turn on.
Summary: I don't understand the good reviews for this camera. My problem is the one described by others: photos look great on LCD, terrible once uploaded to the computer. My son's fourth birthday party photos were a disaster: the colors were blown out, kids blurry and the zoom created weird, shiny eyes on...
Summary: I think that cameras are bought so that I can take beautiful pics. I took pics with this camera and then uploaded the pics onto my pc... all I can say is that the picture quality is very DISSAPOINTING.
Summary: I purchased this product in July 2008 and have been trying to make it work ever since. I've got hundreds of vacation photos saved on the flash drive that I may never get to see. The camera refuses to communicate with any computer.

Summary: I have owned several Olympus Products, most worked well, color was usually excellent, FE-340 breaks the mold. Someone else mentioned that photos come out pale, I agree, the general color quality is not too good, actually it is poor, not at all what Olympus usually does.
