Summary: Lasted about two months and a sensor went out. Camera wouldn't show the picture screen. Contacted Olympus and was told they don't make that particular sensor any more so it couldn't be fixed. When it worked the pictures were fine.
Summary: This camera was a replacement for me,I lost the old. Had this camera for years and it provided great pictures and very reliable. Only down side is the Xd memory cards are hard to find locally.
Summary: I had one of these cameras years ago and it stopped working when I dropped it but olympus has always been reliable for me and very easy to use. I really don't even mind how ridiculously expensive they can be because they're worth every cent.
Summary: I have had this camera for a couple years now and I love it. The only issue I had was that the memory card does not fit my laptop and I seemed to have misplaced the cord. I did however get a replacement usb cord through amazon. I wish they would make memory cards universal for all computer slots. It's all good though I have this camera in pinka dn i love it!! I have had iit for maybe 3-4 years and it is great.
Summary: I'm a camera idiot...but, the Olympus FE-340 made me look like a genius. So, when my original FE-340 was damaged, I wanted to replace it without question...But, I couldn't afford a new one. Thank God for e-bay and finding this seller. Now, I'm back to "happy" and taking pictures of high quality. I use this camera in my auditing work. However, I've found it perfect for taking new pictures of old family photographs so that future generations will have them.
Summary: The Olympus FE-340 is a higher end beginner's digital camera. So I expect good image quality. You'll appreciate the image quality outisde, but not inside. My camera took forever to focus inside and it was off. Even though image quality is a large part of the camera, it's not everything. Shot to shot times are horrible, and shutter lag sucks. Switching scene modes is hard with the dial, and it takes at least 3 seconds for the camera to switch into any shooting mode.
