Summary: Avoid. The worst Olympus camera I've seen -- and most of the cameras are pretty good. Very slow when using flash, horrible quality when lighting is not ideal. No in-camera features like cropping or red-eye fix. Uses the old xD cards which are now expensive and hard to obtain.
Summary: Camera screen has colored lines all over it making the camera useless as the screen is the view finder and you cant see what you are taking a picture of.of course it didn't do it untill just after the warranty expired.
Summary: It has nice features, but I have a list of complaints; First it deleted all of my photos because you must first formatt the XD card before you use it. Second, you can't use your cards from your old digital camera. Only special Olympus cards.
Summary: Bought this little inexpensive thing to tote around until I decide what camera I really want. Easy to use. Took a few nice still shots and close ups with it. Others have already said it: it devours batteries!!!
Summary: I've had one of these for 4 months now and I want to echo the negative comments here about the battery life as it sucks. It's amazing how little it lasts. Everything else is OK... I get plenty of blurry one's, but that may be me as I've had that issue with all my digital cams.
Summary: I purchased this camera because it had a 5x optical zoom and it took standard AA batteries. I was extremely impressed with the zoom quality. The graphic representation on the LCD when zooming has a line that indicates when the camera switches from optical zoom to digital zoom.
