Olympus FE-310 Digital Camera
25 July 2014
Excerpt: I always use this camera when I go travel or make video recordings. This camera is very easy to use and has enough good features. I bought this camera last year, although it’s an old camera but I think it still a good camera compared with the latest digital …
Summary: I bought this camera back in 2008. Still have this camera now that it is going to the ending of 2013. I agree with every reviewer that has said that this camera runs through batteries quickly. It does. I always keep extra on hand. The camera takes AA batteries so pretty easy to find. If you get annoyed with changing batteries a lot, then get the lithium or much more expensive batteries that will last longer.
Summary: I only paid $19.95 for this Camera , (refurbished), and bought a 2 gigabyte Olympus SD card for another $19.95 , so for around $ 40.00 +/- I got an awesome camera with over 5800 possible pictures & the camera comes with the software used to download photos, and the camera has zoom , and other features too numerous to mention !!
Summary: I bought this because I already own one and kind of like it. It uses XD memory which is not all that common these days. I broke my screen so decided to replace the camera. The one I bought on Ebay had a damaged screen and the seller accepted it back and gave me a refund. The primary limitation I find is taking flash pictures at distances over 10 feet. There seems to be no way I can get decent quality.
Summary: I bought this camera for my daughter as the price was right and an upgrade from what she was using. The item was packaged in a factory refurb box and came with all the paper work and even 2 sets of batteries. I was a little bit disappointed with the plastics as the front of the camera had some scratches and scuffs. While I have occasionally seen this on refurbs, usually the plastics are like new or replaced.
Summary: Avoid. The worst Olympus camera I've seen -- and most of the cameras are pretty good. Very slow when using flash, horrible quality when lighting is not ideal. No in-camera features like cropping or red-eye fix. Uses the old xD cards which are now expensive and hard to obtain. Battery life on AAs does appear to be very good. I can only reccomend this camera if you're getting it at a great price and going to use it almost exclusively for outdoor daytime shots...
Summary: I bought this camera to replace same camera of older vintage which was run over by a car (that's another long story for another time). I sought out and bought this one because I was so pleased with the performance and size of the original. One of the features I had purchased the first one for was a setting specifically for taking photos of items for eBay. That is one of the many "standard" settings on this camera and it really is worth having.
