Convenient & compact, takes great pics in good lighting

Excerpt: My Olymupus FE-230 is a great travel camera because it's compact and very easy to operate. I keep it in my purse and bring with me just about everywhere I go. It has a fairly decent zoom, but I would prefer something with better zoom options. Also I noticed the red eye reduction does not always work. For the most part, though, the pictures are clear and crisp. The only time I have noticed blurry pictures is when I have zoomed in too far or the lighting is too dark.
Excerpt: I bought the Olympus FE-230 about 3 years ago, without doing much research on it. I find it to be a good camera for day to day picture taking but it lacks certain key elements which prevent it from excelling in it's field. For taking pictures of landscapes and scenery this camera excels giving you high quality images fit for your wallpaper.
Convenient Point and shoot camera, only average quality photos

Excerpt: I've had this camera for a number of years now and I have been pleased with the ease of use and the portability of this small point and shoot. The camera is fairly small and slim so it's easy to put in your pocket, however be warned that the LCD screen is a bit more sensitive compared to other cameras. I had a friend that cracked his LCD screen after two days of owning the camera!. I love menu screen with the ability to select your scene.
Summary: I got this camera as a present for junior prom, and it went belly-up just in time for senior prom. It was a good camera to start on, easy to use and took good photos. I loved the macro shots & video, but was very dissappointed when it broke for no reason. The zoom is now out of whack, and I don't plan on buying another one.
Summary: I thought I was getting a great price on a digital camera to give to my mother as a Holiday gift and I was a little disappointed when I got my package in the mail and the camera was "reconditioned." I feel like I should have been better informed of this when I was purchasing the camera.
Summary: I purchased this camera because it looked simple to operate and it is, however it has another serious problem. The first one arrived with a missing cord then I got a cord and it failed to download the pictures. Overstock was great they rushed me another one. It worked for exactly one week before it would not download the pictures. So I would AVOID this camera. With 2 of 2 failing to download from the camera it must be a frequent problem.
Summary: I love every feature about this camera. It fits in my breast pocket, the battery lasts forever, switching between picture taking and review couldn't be easier, etc. etc. But I am a little disappointed in the quality of the image, considering that it is a 7+ megapixel camera. It seems to compare with my 3 MP camera, as far as image quality goes. Now that is OK for me, in that I take a lot of 4x6 type snapshots, and send the digtal images to my internet correspondants.
Summary: I was happy with this purchase until I printed some of the pictures. The photos were a bit blurry. The pictures were taken in a variety of circumstances and all looked a bit off (fuzzy). Some of the pics were indoors with a flash some outdoors with the stabilization feature turned on. I did like to size and navigation menus. The red eye feature worked well. The shutter lag was good too; pretty fast turn around time to take the next picture.
