Summary: I bought this camera as a gift for my wife. We are not photographer professionals but we would like to start taking more quality pictures, and this camera is a good middle solution for us that are not professionals. It was a used camera as advertised and it was in real good conditions and it is still working after one year.
Summary: I AM TOTALLY AMAZED WITH THIS CAMERA. UPON RECEIVING THIS CAMERA I CHARGED THE BATTERY, INSTALLED A MEMORY CARD AND TOOK IT TO MY DAUGHTER'S BABY SHOWER. THE PARTY ROOM WAS DIM-TO-DARK. DINNER WAS SERVED AND SMALL CHILDREN WERE CRAWLING AND RUNNING EVERYWHERE. I HAD NO CONFIDENCE IN MY ABILITY TO TAKE A DECENT PICTURE SO; I SET THE CAMERA TO AUTO AND STARTED TAKING PICTURES.
Excerpt: This camera takes awesome pictures! You can buy any lens to this camera you can ever imagine. I have got one as a present and I never go for a trip without it. Pictures are coming out great on auto, but once you learn all the functions and tricks you can take professional, high quality and high definition pictures. Another wonderful aspect about it is its size. I believe it is the samllest one of its kind.
Olympus E410 DSLR .super clarity editing on camera.

Excerpt: I have had my Olympus E-410 for almost a year now. I bought it as a kit with a 14-42mm lens, carring strap, battery and charger, usb cable, video cable, cd rom & a carry/storage case. The picture quality is awesome! At 10 mp, I get really great close ups automatically focused. I also get "true color" with this camera. Some digitals I've had, the purples sometimes turn out blue. Not so with the Olympus DSLR E410.
Summary: Let me start off saying that I worked for a company and they were doing close outs on their Olympus line and I got on heck of a discounted price. I basically paid about ½ the price, on heck of a bang for the buck. The E410 is not a bad camera, nor is it the camera to be all. The images are somewhat soft which is problem inherent with the four thirds format. So be it.
Summary: I am not going to break down this camera with the detail that has already been given. I have used other DSLRs and can say that this is a great camera for the money. The pictures are very crisp and clear especially if you use proper techniques (photography basics) Adjusting the settings took a little practice and a full battery to learn, but once you get the hang of it, it isn't overly complicated (read the manual before poking buttons).
