Summary: I have always liked Olympus cameras I already own an e410.but found it was not quite good enough for night shooting. And I heard the e30. was better. On the down side. The e30 is heavier and kind of bulky. I have not used it in the month I have owned it. because of the bad weather. but with spring coming. and here in central Texas. It will be wildflower season. I really look forward to working with it. Though there are much faster cameras and more advanced ones.
Summary: Recently purchased the E-30 (Used) to replace or complement my six year-old E-510. The learning curve was about five minutes. A few controls were switched around for the better. Excellent heft and feel. Obviously accepts all of my Zuiko lenses. I am very happy with the quality of photos. It took a bit of time to adjust the sharpness, saturation etc. until the images emerged to my liking. Things are a bit noisy in low light high iso conditions (iso 800).
Summary: My E30 was purchased in 2010 to replace a venerable E500 which did not have image stabilization. I paired the E30 with a Olympus Zuiko 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 Digital ED SWD Lens for Olympus Digital SLR Cameras which is a superb lens. Another lens I use is the Olympus E 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6 Zuiko Lens for Olympus Digital SLR Cameras for wide angle work - mainly building interiors and landscapes.
This camera came in great shape. I use it all the time and love it.

Summary: I needed a back up camera body for my current camera. I use this camera body all the time and am very happy with it. I am so happy I had a choice to purchase a used camera body with a warrantee.
This is an excellent camera packed with features and easy to use!

Summary: This is a great camera. Fast light weight and on the money. I like the controls and features. For the money this is the best camera I have ever owned. While it is a bit bigger than the E 500 I had before it is well worth the extra weight and space. It takes good low light shots and excellent panoramas. Working with the image stabilization I can shoot free hand with the 200mm lens.
Summary: I purchased the E-30 from Amazon.com and love it. It's smaller and lighter than the E-3 and has more features. Is the E-3, E-5 is to large and expensive and you don't need the weather sealing, this is the camera for you. Gives you eautiful images with very little noise. I never even used the Noise Filter it has.
Summary: The camera is fast and resposive; works well in conjunction with the Zuiko 12-60 SWD and my Zuiko 50-200 ED. I wish I had bought the SWD version of the longer lens, the difference wasn't noticable with my Olympus e410 but now it matters on the football field! Although the image quality was just as good if not slightly better with my old camera, this camera performs faster and there is a substantial improvement in low light conditions (only when compared to older 4/3...
